Zoom Bible Study 01-09-2021

Summary of what I learnt:

Whatever has a beginning has an end.

Psalm 102:26
They will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment. Like clothing you will change them and they will be discarded.

The Bible is authentic.

We get the spirit of God at baptism.

Luke 2:51
Then he went down to Nazareth with them and was obedient to them. But his mother treasured all these things in her heart.

Whatever you are learning, keep them in your heart and the things God has revealed unto you. With time people will learn the truth when they don't understand about our faith and what we believe now.

1 Corinthians 3:2
I gave you milk, not solid food, for you were not yet ready for it. Indeed, you are still not ready.

They might feel offended when they don't understand. They are babies because they don't understand the ways of God yet. If they don't have the necessary element of faith, they won't be able to understand what you understand as a believer.

Hebrews 5:13-14
Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness.
But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.

The doctrines you have heard and believed, keep them in your heart, and then introduce them to your teachings later on.

1 Corinthians 7:13-14
And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is willing to live with her, she must not divorce him.
For the unbelieving husband has been sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife has been sanctified through her believing husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy.

The unbelieving husband or wife is sanctified by the other. The other can be used to help or win over the other. Do not leave your unbelieving wife or husband because you can be used to turn them over to the ways of God.

1 Peter 3:1
Wives, in the same way submit yourselves to your own husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives,

It's about displaying the fruits of the spirit that can win the other person over.

The Bible is true.

Psalm 104:30
When you send your Spirit, they are created, and you renew the face of the ground.

God renews the earth. The Spirit of God shaped the earth and not the big bang theory. The valleys, oceans, and rivers show us the intelligent designer which is God. They are not caused by accident. God made them. God renews the earth by His Spirit.

Job 9:5-6
He moves mountains without their knowing it and overturns them in his anger.
He shakes the earth from its place and makes its pillars tremble.
