Toffee Crunch Coffee at the Highfield House Tea Rooms

The Highfield House Tea Rooms is a lovely little café that we recently visited for the first time. The café is connected to a farm shop. When we arrived, I saw two sheep outside the door. At first, I thought they were real, but they turned out to be fake.

Inside, it was pretty busy, but we were able to find a table. If the weather was a little warmer there's also an option to sit outside. The atmosphere in the café was cozy and welcoming. I always think it's a good sign when a café is busy because it means the food must be good.

I heard that a lot of the food they serve is from their own farm shop or from local businesses. There were so many different types of coffee and syrups to choose from.

I decided to have something different from my usual black americano. We ordered a toffee crunch coffee and a latte. The toffee crunch was quite sweet and yummy. I've been cutting a lot of sugar out of my diet the past year, but you have to have something naughty now and again.

We also decided to try some of their food. We ordered a homemade mushroom quiche, a brie and ham toastie both with salad, coleslaw and crisps. It was very tasty.

It is always a risk going somewhere new, but overall, our visit to the Highfield House Tea Rooms was a success.

As there was a gift shop next door, I might pop back for potential Christmas presents. I would definitely recommend the café. Plus, you might even get to see some fake sheep outside the door!

Greetings, @ellenripley
The little sheep really look real. It would have been fantastic if that were the case because humans have already displaced animals quite a bit.
Coffee with caramel would never have occurred to me ha, ha, ha It seems like an interesting option.
I heard that much of the food they serve comes from their own farm store or local businesses.
This is excellent. Self-sustainability is the future.
Thanks for sharing.

I've never tasted a toffee crunch and I'm curious. The decor at the entrance of the cafe is attractive, seeing those two sheep is very appealing.

The rustic, natural, agricultural touch feels very appealing. I reiterate, I'm curious about the toffee crunch, too bad it was too sweet.

Latte is my thing. :3

It literally tasted like toffee. I like sweet things but trying hard to cut down. 🙂

In my case I love sweet, but when it comes to coffee I don't like anything sweet. The less sugar the better. :3

I always look forward to your coffee posts. They're always very unique (as are the places you seem to visit). The sheep sold me tbh xD

Sounds like oodles of coffeelicious fun!.png

Hello friend, how beautiful all that experience that you share with us and it is great that you have had the opportunity to get to know that place, which looks very comfortable and cozy, in addition its design is very modern and the sheep give it a special touch. . That choice is very good and you should occasionally treat yourself like that. They are excellent and I hope you enjoyed everything.

I know. It gets easier, but I have to cheat once in a while.
