Salisbury Cathedral's Sarum Lights: Renaissance Light and Sound Event
(Edited)
I made a quick trip to Wiltshire to see the Salisbury Cathedral's Sarum Lights: Renaissance. The cathedral has the tallest spire in the UK.
It is a very popular light and sound event that has been put on for the past couple of years.
This year, it is the work of the team Luxmuralis that displays the paintings and artworks of the Renaissance era.
The light displays were inside and outside of the cathedral with atmospheric music playing. Much better than fireworks!
Overall, it was brilliant with the moonlight being an added bonus to make it even more atmospheric. The cathedral itself was stunning.
