From the car park, we made our way over the mossy stone bridge. The footpaths and trails are quite well looked after. You have to be careful of the odd cyclist whizzing past you though as it's accessible for everyone.

It looks a little bare in the winter months. In the summer, you can walk through the colourful rhododendron bushes. They can be quite evasive, though, if too many are allowed to spread.
We walked down to the lake. It was good to see that the Mandarin ducks were still in residence.
The drake was mouthing off at something. 🙂
After a nice circular walk, we had a takeaway coffee from the onsite café which is open daily.
