Coffee at the Beach Hut, Dorset, UK

While holidaying in Dorset, my friend and I had the opportunity to visit her family's beach hut at Friars Cliff Beach. Even though we are in October, it was nice and mild this morning, so it was the perfect time to go down to the beach hut for a nice cuppa by the sea. I can never remember which hut it is as there are a lot of them, but my friend's pooch knew exactly which one it was.

I haven't had instant coffee for a while, but my friend rummaged through the cupboards and pulled out a jar of Marks and Spencer's Italian finest instant coffee! 😁 Even though I prefer coffee pods, I'm not a snob when it comes to coffee and it would still hit the spot. My friend opted for a cup of green tea which I thought looked like weasel p*ss!

We grabbed the camping chairs and set them up just outside the beach hut, facing the lovely view of the sea. Beach huts in the UK can either be bought or hired out and are a traditional feature of British seaside towns. They have been used by people to enjoy the beach and sea for many years.

The beach was a mix of sand and shingle, making it a good spot for beachcoming. I enjoy walking along the sands, looking at the shells and stones. It was the perfect morning taking in the sea air and having a nice cup of coffee.

The pooch enjoyed it too, swimming in the sea, digging holes, chasing after pebbles, and making friends with passers-bys, so it was a good start to the day. I still prefer coffee pods, though. 😁

I found it very interesting to be able to rent a cabin on the seashore, a perfect weekend to spend with someone or alone. But without forgetting a perfect companion, coffee.

Thanks for sharing your experience.☕

Good day.

My pleasure. If you buy a hut though, you'd have to be very rich. They go for an awful lot of money.

Looks lovely. I've not been there though I used to live in Dorset.

We just need a little bit more sun, and then it would be perfect.

Hello friend, first of all, great for that vacation and that place, it shows that it is very well preserved, also a coffee will always be important and even more so with the company of someone, I am not a big fan of instant coffee, but it is time to drink it at special moments . I hope you enjoyed

In that wonderful atmosphere, a good cup of coffee is always welcome, tasting it while looking at that magical landscape is phenomenal.
