I’m So Tired…….My Actifit Report Card: November 17 2024

I’m so tired! It would seem that’s what Cot would have to say based on the first picture! He’s a cutie, and kitties require around 16-ish hours per day of sleep! I know-you’re thinking, ‘if only!’ Wouldn’t that be awesome-just once?

The day began at church which was awesome! The worship, the sermon-I’m never bored during the service. I can really appreciate not falling asleep as that has not been the norm in the past. Our pastor delivers the Word in a way that keeps you anticipating and often can make you laugh with his analogies. 😇

Unfortunately my hip hasn’t improved; maybe even worse. I’m good standing or sitting-it’s just getting into those positions that just about kills me. We won’t even talk about trying to lift up my leg to put it in the car! If I could, I’d just leave it outside of the car. Might be a bit rough on the shoes, dragging along as we go! 🙄

We ended up going to the grocery which was a feat unto itself! After a very slow shopping expedition, we then stopped by Starbucks in Lynden. We ran into one of my patients from the clinic there and I introduced him to my husband. This guy is a bit unique as he’s a helicopter pilot but with vision in just one eye. Apparently the regulations in Australia are much more lax than ours here. He cannot legally be a pilot in the IS with the vision issues he has. Anyway, once we’d enjoyed a bit of our coffee, we headed for home.
