It’s Too Dog-gone Hot To……..My Actifit Report Card: July 9 2024
….to run like this! Phoenix doesn’t know how to do anything slow as was the case on Sunday when she and her humans took a bike ride up into the mountains. That was the before pic……now here’s the after pic!
She was one tired girl!
It’s still much too hot! I had ladies Bible study this morning. We gave our good running window AC unit to one of the gals. @silvertop brought it and he loaded it into her car. I noticed a bracket missing, so we went home and then delivered it to her. She gave us a huge bag of cherries! Yum!😋
Since it was pushing 90 degrees at that point, we headed to Bellingham to get a couple of tarps. Then to Walmart for some oil for the truck. Just as I’d started the car, one pulled up at a funny angle beside ours. 🙀 Turns out it was our oldest son and his wife who we haven’t seen since January! We stood out in the heat for close to 30 minutes but eventually had to go as I had some cold stuff that was heating up quick!
During the trip, the car’s external thermometer hit 95 degrees!🙀🙀🙀🥵🥵🥵 We headed home and I promptly popped the cold stuff in the fridge and some of it in the freezer for a quick 10 minute cool down!

The ladies Bible study is halting until mid August due to vacation Bible school at the church where we meet as well as various surgery and health issues for some of the family members of the group. I will miss them but we do have a group FB messenger we can use to keep in touch. 😇
Tomorrow’s another start to my work week. I’m not sure if we’re booked or not, but the good news is it’s air conditioned! 😎👍 That’s it for now. Take care and enjoy your day wherever you are! 🙏🙏🇮🇱🇺🇦
