Simple straight gown

Good day everyone, I am happy to be on this community @NeedleWorkMonday and to share with you how I made my straight gown for myself using the measurements below:

Firstly, I got my ankara fabric of 2yards, my gown length will be 43 inches working according to my fabric as well , taking note of the hip allowance as the largest circumference because it is a straight gown without half length.

Burst - 34/26. I added 12 inches to it to serve as the allowance, 4 inches for Zip allowance, 4 inches for dart and the remaining for the seam allowance. Then for the hip measurement it's 37+12 inches making 49, the 12 inches for the Zip, dart seam allowance and overall allowance. I made use of the hip measurement in cutting because it is the largest circumference.

Shoulder - 15. I divided it by 2 making 7.5 inches for the shoulder. Armhole- I added 1 inch to my shoulder 15+1 =16 inches, then I divided it by 2 to give 8 inches as my armhole. I made the neck depth to be 4.5 inches, not too high and not too low so it won't choke me and the neck width 4 inches.

The Underburst(UB) is 11 inches and I came down by 14 inches for my dart. My nipple point is 8inches so the dart distance is 4inches. After that I joined the front and the back together and I fixed the Zip.

Deciding the style of the hand to fix was a little bit hard because I wanted a puff hand but still I have to work according to my fabric since I don't want to use any other material, so I went for straight sleeve, my Round sleeve(RS) is 10 inches while my sleeve length (sl) is 13 inches just three quarter, I love my sleeves free, and my gown is ready
