Sex on the first date, Yes or No? Weekend-engagement //WK 208

The question this week are numerous but this particular one caught my attention, sex on a first date, is it a yes or no?
This is my response to this question by @galenkp

Having sex on a first date is a matter of preference, it is a NO for me and I have my reasons written below why I can't have sex on a first date.

1. I believe this should be a talking stage and just getting to know the person. I still see them as a stranger.

2. We are just getting comfortable with one another, so I believe we can still meet any other day if we are so into each other,we need not be in such a hurry.

3. Ladies get pregnant for men they met just once and sadly might not meet them again and some might even deny the pregnancy I wouldn't want something as such, it is better to avoid it's occurrence.

1. I wouldn't support it to avoid creating the wrong impression that I can just do it with any body I meet for the first time.

Let's say I get to really like the person, then we can go intimate, but having sex with them on the first date might create this form of attachment I do not want, how do I know if he sincerely loves me. A lot of "if". What if he is married, have a partner already, or possibility of having sexually transmitted disease (STD). All these I can't find out in just one day of going out with him, so I would rather take my time before jumping into anything with a guy. If he is really intentional about me, there shouldn't be any form of rushing.
