Patience: Ability to wait

Have you ever thought of giving up??, hold on things will be better

In life we really have to be patient, even though we desire a lot of things, but we will not get all we want at once. You don't really have to beat yourself up for not achieving what your other mates have achieved in life because everybody have their own different time, comparison sometimes leads to unhappiness.

Let me tell you a short story

Caroline and Sonia are close friends, they have been friends from childhood, Caroline is materialistic and has vowed not to marry any man who can't give her all the luxuries she wants, she likes parties and mixing with people of the high class, Sonia is the calm type and she followed her heart by marrying the man she loves

Caroline got married to a rich man, a business tycoon while Sonia's husband was just a civil servant, although they were not so rich but they had peace of mind and their love keep waxing stronger, Caroline was comfortable in terms of money but her husband was barely available.

She envied Sonia and the only way she could console herself was to use the riches and stories of how her husband takes care of her, the luxuries and all, touring from one country to another to make her feel oppressed

The aftermath
Tonia sometimes gets home and starts causing trouble with her husband on how he has been unable to cater for her every needs, he keeps encouraging her things will change. She felt bad for the pressure she is putting on him and apologized.

Unknown to them Sonia's husband is into drug trafficking one of the reasons he kept a distance from home. He is so into the business and has a group, he was found and arrested by the police.

He was charged to court, Caroline was devastated and angry at the same time because her husband kept all these away from her. She regretted being enticed by money and wished shee could turn back the hands of time.

Her friend is living happily with her husband and they keep managing hoping one day things will change for them and luckily things changed for better because he was hardworking.

Why we should not compare
You start feeling less of your self when you try to compare your lifestyle with that of others, just give it time and everything will be fine. Are your friends rich and you are poor, then you feel sad, remember the rich also cry and no one has it all. There are some things that you have which others also crave for

We are all unique in our way and have inbuilt capabilities, before a tree grows up it is first a seed, from wetting it daily, definitely it took time for it to get to the stage of becoming a big tree, before they start enjoying the produce.

The same way we need to be patient too before attaining that height which we aspire, don't rush.

When you finally get all you want and look back it will become a story.
