The components
- Three hundred grams of beans .
- Five hundred grams of meat with bone, chopped.
- Two cups of tomato juice.
- Two cups of meat broth or water.
- Three tablespoons of vegetable oil.
- Two large tomatoes, cut into cubes.
- A cup of rusks. A large onion, cut into cubes.
- Vargata Ghar Four cloves of garlic. Three tablespoons of Romano or Parmesan cheese.
- Small spoon of salt. ¼ teaspoon of black pepper. A little bicarbonate.

Preparation method.
- Bring an oven dish or any individual dishes suitable for the oven.
- Put the beans in a wide dish and wash them well, then leave them to soak in water overnight.
- Put the beans with a little bicarbonate of soda in a saucepan over medium heat until they are tender.
- Heat the oil in a separate pan, then add the meat and stir constantly with a wooden spoon until it changes color.
- Add onions and garlic and stir for a little while, then add tomatoes.
- Add bay leaf, salt, and pepper and stir well.
- Add broth and tomato juice, and stir to mix well.
- Reduce the heat, cover the pot, and let the meat cook until it is tender.
- Pour the meat mixture into the tagine, then add the boiled beans. Arrange the rusks and cheese on top of the casserole.
- Put the casserole in the oven for ten minutes until it turns golden brown.
