Saturday away from home | Story for Weekend-Experiences
After a week of routine work, processing vaccines administered, patients seen, studying causes of morbidity and immunization coverage, the weekend finally arrives and there is not much time left to rest and enjoy.
The work from Monday to Friday does not leave much time to attend to household matters, such as washing or cleaning, and much less to rest and spend some time relaxing with friends or in solitude.
On Sundays, I have to put on my apron and serve the public as a waiter in a restaurant, looking for an extra income that allows me to cover the expenses that in this country are quite high. But it is a second job that I do with a lot of dedication and pleasure (like everything I do), where at the end of the day I end up sitting down to enjoy a good plate of typical food from the region where I live.
As you can see, I only have Saturday to dedicate it to my personal matters, so, most of the times I don't get up early, but stay lying in bed or in the hammock where I spend most of the day, getting up just to prepare something to eat and take care of Odin (my French bulldog) who is always demanding attention.
On Saturdays when I'm not cleaning the house or doing laundry, I usually visit my baby's grandparents to keep them company and take care of any other needs they might have (they are alone in this city); and very occasionally I usually do some other outdoor recreational activity, which ends up being very pleasant and energizing to continue with the week ahead.
Recently it was one of those few Saturdays when I forget all responsibility and escape with some of the few friends I have (humans and dogs), spending a different day, relaxing body and soul, and strengthening the bonds of friendship with sincere people whom I appreciate.
The phone rang, and on the other end the voice of a friend asked me if I wanted to accompany them to spend the day at a swimming pool in the countryside, with friends and family of hers. I didn't think twice and said yes, even though I was not in a very good mood, because I was in an introverted period of reflection and need to be alone.
I picked up my bathing clothes, some supplies to prepare the food, and waited for them to come by looking for me. Too bad I didn't ask if I could bring my pet, and I had to leave him locked up until my return, while the others brought their puppies.
It was a nice day of pool, soup, grilled meat and rest, like I hadn't had in a long time, and I felt again that spark that had gone out and kept me cooped up at home like a hermit.
Definitely, if you ask me if I prefer to do weekend activities outdoors or indoors, I prefer those where I can feel nature, feeling the earth under my feet, the sun on my skin and the breeze brushing against my body.

Hello, I was delighted to see you in so many different facets, it also helps me to become more aware of the reality in your beloved Venezuela. A big hug
Thanks my friend.
As you can see, you have to carry out several activities or jobs to have relative stability. But the important thing is that we put our heart into everything we do; without leaving aside recreation time.
My regards, brother.
You are very right, we have to put the heart in what we do, for ourselves and for others, a very big greeting my brother.

Sharing with friends will always be a divine experience! I loved the pool!
