Psychology and Culture
Hey everyone, I would like to welcome you to my new contribution and hope you have a week which will bring many new positive experiences into your life! I have decided today to go into a psychological topic and hope you are able to expand your knowledge a bit.
Culture is an important footprint for things created by humans and confirm the creativity or imagination that came from a population to shape our world as we find it today. Without the creation of culture, it would have been difficult for people to identify with each other and to culture can be counted things like language, art, traditions, economy and many other things and by and large, a culture is a term for works created by humans and in the course of the development of humanity each population group has developed its own form of culture which is characterised by individualism. Cultures are also particularly interesting from a psychological point of view in many respects and there is even a separate branch that has focussed on the exploration of culture and the connections to the human psyche and the goal of this modern area of psychology is to research what a huge influence the thinking of people has on the creation of culture and this branch of cultural psychology can be considered very diverse and examines all connections and types of phenomena that arise in this context. The creation of culture is also omnipresent in the current era and the development of the media has changed a lot and it has never been easier to have so much influence on the cultural landscape than through the mass media with which you can reach pretty much every household and through the artificial creation of idols, it has never been easier to create new standards of culture and this development can be seen both positively and negatively.
The change in culture has the consequence that the entire way of thinking of people is influenced and thus new standards are set and people act completely differently and this change is noticeable in all areas and this even has the consequence that certain areas are simply repressed and others artificially highlighted and thus a long chain can be attacked in which both cultural workers have to fight for their existence and through this change not only jobs are at risk, but also traditions that were essential for the development of large groups. Often you see that few people recognise this change and thus do not question it and it is very important to observe how mass media can have a positive or negative effect on cultural thinking and to note that the culture of people is more than some think, an important identification mark. Through the exact analysis and recognition of psychological phenomena that are related to the culture, it is easier to understand the change and the influence of the media and this knowledge is particularly important to be able to adapt to the change of culture and to protect important cultural goods in some scenarios. Culture is an important component and deeply anchored in the human psyche and the whole behaviour is based on the culture as well as the information that is connected with it and there are numerous influencing factors that can influence the psychological reference of certain cultural values and this can be both the origin or the age of the individual and there are numerous other influences such as gender, educational level or the countries where people come from. From nation to nation there are very own values which are linked to culture and can influence the social attitude and only when someone have dealt more closely with the psychological factors will this person realise how far-reaching this topic is and important for understanding the relationship to culture.
