Celestine Mineral
Hello dear Hive community, I hope you all had a great day and wish you a also good start to the new week! In this post I would like to present you a mineral and I hope you find the post informative and interesting!
You can see here a common mineral that bears the name Celestine and belongs to the class of sulfates. Celestine usually has a blue, red, white or yellow color and the name of this mineral is derived from the Latin word coelestis, which means heavenly. A little further down in the post I'll show you another one with a typical light blue color and I think it's interesting to see different types of appearance.
Celestine is very interesting for the extraction of strontium and strontium salts, which makes it very interesting for different industrial applications. It is also used for the production of jewellery and can be processed well due to the hardness. The most important producers for Celestine are Mexico, China or Spain.
Celestine is associated with the zodiac sign Gemini and was already known in ancient times. Already in ancient Egypt, the mysticism behind this mineral was highly appreciated and it was used for spiritual purposes and was was also associated with wisdom and enlightenment. Also in ancient Greece, it was probably already revered and worn as a protective carrier.
It is also very popular as a healing and chakra stone and symbolically Celestine is supposed to help free someone from inner and outer constraints, a mineral that can symbolically free someone from the matrix. As a healing stone, it can also help to improve the mood and in general it should have harmonizing properties. Even if it should be self-evident, you must always ask your doctor about the right medicine and application.
Many thanks for stopping by and I hope you like my new post! I used my camera Sony Alpha 6000 and Sony SEL-55210 Telephoto Zoom Lens (55-210mm) to take these pictures.
Now those are some beautiful specimens! That third one is really cool!

I myself have a passion for finding things like this that are unique from my childhood, the way you have shown this stone.
Happy that my post could awaken old memories! Pakistan also has a really wide variety of interesting minerals @djbravo
There are many places in Pakistan where we can find such special stones.
It’s interesting to learn a little more about it! I heard in Pakistan there is a lot of aquamarine, tourmaline, apatite and many more. Minerals are also a part of the alchemy, islamic alchemy is in general an interesting topic that is historically deeply rooted.
In the mountainous regions of Pakistan, we find many such stones.
