In psychology, behaviourism also describes the analysis of behaviour of humans and animals and even if people have been interested in exploring the behaviour of living beings much longer, behaviourism emerged as a separate branch only later during the 20th century. The founder of this branch of psychology is also John Watson (1878 - 1958), who had previously dealt intensively with the research of human behaviour and later decided to devote his experiences to his own field and he quickly got a lot of attention and with his experiments in this area, he made many headlines. Of particular importance in this form of psychology are also the stimulus that meets a human being and the basis is the behaviour that arises from an interaction of the environment and the organism and on the whole when it comes research in this area, it does not matter what happens in the brain and the focus here is the stimulus as well as the process which is generated by it, not the internal processes. This area of research is particularly important in order to analyse the learning behaviour of humans and to develop methods accordingly, and in this context it is often referred to as a stimulus reaction scheme and the research of the Russian psychologist Ivan Pavlov (1849 - 1936), who became particularly known for dealing with the reflexes of dogs, also had a great influence on behaviourism. According to Watson, it is also an area that is based on a scientific level and only refers to processes that are related to the environment and it was a way for him to better document or understand the behaviour of organisms and basically he also distinguished in his scheme from innate behaviour or those learned from outside.
