"For the Fun" - A Poem

Where does this road go?
We'll just drive and drive
Eventually we'll know
And as we find out
We'll be talking our minds out
We'll be singing our lungs out
That's what today is all about
From just after sunrise
Until the day is all done
We're just here to have fun
We're only here to have fun

See? So much lighter! And for anybody who's been paying attention to the health and wellbeing of my little toe, I'm proud to report that it's much better (despite that tiny setback when i kicked the same brick again, with the same toe but at a much slower speed this time, thankfully).

I wrote this poem like it could be the inspiration for a pop song that doesn’t require much deep thought. No overthinking necessary! Being me, there’s a good chance my next poem will be twice as dark to compensate but it's good to express more than one side of myself.
