Hola chic@s, espero que se encuentren muy bien, por acá agradecida con la vida por un día más.

Siempre me había interesado aprender sobre primeros auxilios y salud, de hecho, yo misma me coloco ciertas inyecciones, pero nunca imaginé que esa información sería tan valiosa para mí y mi familia.

Hace unos días, mientras disfrutábamos de una serie de televisión y reíamos juntos, mi esposo se quejó de un fuerte dolor de cabeza. Me preocupé de inmediato, así que le tomé la presión arterial para asegurarme de que no fuera un problema grave. Afortunadamente, su presión estaba normal.

Le di un analgésico y esperamos a que hiciera efecto. Pasaron más de dos horas y mi esposo no mejoraba, al contrario, su dolor se intensificaba. Estaba muy preocupada, así que decidí que necesitaba buscar un medicamento más fuerte.

Salí de casa casi a la 1 de la madrugada en busca de una farmacia de turno. Afortunadamente, encontré una abierta y pude conseguir un medicamento inyectable que necesitaba receta médica.

Regresé a casa lo más rápido que pude y preparé la inyección. Recordé lo que había aprendido en un curso de primeros auxilios que había tomado hace algunos años y, con mucho cuidado, inyecté el medicamento a mi esposo.

Al cabo de unos minutos, mi esposo empezó a sentirse mejor y pudo conciliar el sueño. Me quedé a su lado junto con nuestra pequeña Lucero toda la noche, vigilándolo de cerca.

Mi esposo se despertó sintiéndose mucho mejor. Estaba preocupado porque tuve que salir a esa hora, que como encontré la vía, que si las luces estaban bien, etc.

Moraleja:
Saber colocar inyecciones y tener conocimientos básicos de medicamentos esenciales puede marcar la diferencia en una situación de emergencia. No esperes a que te ocurra algo para aprender. Invierte en tu educación y capacítate para proteger a tus seres queridos.

Hi guys, I hope you are doing well, here I am, thankful to God for another day.

I had always been interested in learning about first aid and health, in fact, I give myself certain injections, but I never imagined that this information would be so valuable to me and my family.

A few days ago, while we were enjoying a TV series and laughing together, my husband complained of a severe headache. I was immediately concerned, so I took his blood pressure to make sure it wasn't a serious problem. Fortunately, his blood pressure was normal.

I gave him a painkiller and we waited for it to take effect. More than two hours passed and my husband was not getting better, on the contrary, his pain was intensifying. I was very worried, so I decided I needed to look for a stronger medication.

I left the house at almost 1 a.m. in search of a pharmacy on duty. Fortunately, I found one open and was able to get an injectable medication that needed a prescription.

I returned home as quickly as I could and prepared the injection. I remembered what I had learned in a first aid course I had taken a few years ago and, very carefully, injected my husband with the medication.

After a few minutes, my husband began to feel better and was able to fall asleep. I stayed by his side with our little Lucero all night, keeping a close eye on him.

My husband woke up feeling much better. I was worried because I had to leave at that hour, how did I find the IV, were the lights okay, etc.

Moral of the story:
Knowing how to give injections and having basic knowledge of essential medications can make all the difference in an emergency situation. Don't wait until something happens to you to learn. Invest in your education and become trained to protect your loved ones.
