Hola abejitas, en esta oportunidad les presento a Misu, el gato de mi madre.

Una noche salí con Padrote a su caminata nocturna, había una manada de gatos rodeando a un gatito, Padrote vio la situación y se acercó a ver qué pasaba, los gatos al darse cuenta de lo que se aproximaba salieron corriendo a resguardarse en su guarida, el gatito quedó paralizado sin saber qué hacer hasta que decidió ir a la guarida de los gatos, sin embargo, los gatos le impidieron el paso y el pobre gatito reunió todo el valor que le quedaba y le hizo frente a Padrote. Yo estaba segura de que padrote no lo iba a agredir, pero, el gatito no lo sabía; padrote se le acercó lo suficiente para olerlo y siguió su camino 🤭, yo por otro lado me acerqué y el gatito estaba tan angustiado que al ver que me agaché y le hablé corrió hacia mí, lo cargué y esperé a que Padrote terminara de hacer su recorrido para ir a la casa de mis padres.
One night I went out with Padrote on his night walk, there was a herd of cats surrounding a kitten, Padrote saw the situation and approached to see what was going on, the cats realizing what was approaching ran away to take shelter in their den, the kitten was paralyzed not knowing what to do until he decided to go to the cats den, however, the cats blocked his way and the poor kitten gathered all the courage he had left and confronted Padrote. I was sure Padrote wasn't going to attack him, but, the kitten didn't know that; Padrote got close enough to smell him and went on his way 🤭, I on the other hand got closer and the kitten was so distressed that when he saw that I bent down and talked to him he ran to me, I carried him and waited for Padrote to finish his walk to go to my parents' house.
Para ese momento yo no vivía con mis padres y en el lugar donde vivía no podía tenerlo, por lo que les pedí que lo resguardaran una semana mientras le conseguía un hogar, para nadie es un secreto que la gente tiene preferencia por un siamés (algo absurdo) así que era seguro encontrarle un hogar en ese tiempo. Mi temor era que lo ignoraran, que solo le pusieran comida, agua y el arenero, porque a mis padres no les agradaban los gatos, mi papá por una mala experiencia y mi mamá…. Por necia 🤭, no hay otra manera de decirlo.
At that time I didn't live with my parents and where I lived I couldn't have him, so I asked them to keep him for a week while I found him a home, it's no secret that people have a preference for a Siamese (something absurd) so it was safe to find him a home at that time. My fear was that they would ignore him, that they would only put food, water and the sandbox, because my parents didn't like cats, my dad because of a bad experience and my mom.... For foolish 🤭, there is no other way to put it.
Siempre estaba pendiente de ir a revisarlo y el día en el que lo fuí a buscar me dijeron que él estaba bien, que le estaban buscando un nombre pero que no se decidían, que mientras le decían Misu y que ellos lo iban a cuidar, yo no lo podía creer, estaba en shock y les dije que les iba a dar 1 mes de prueba que si yo llegaba a ver una señal de indiferencia se los iba a quitar porque muchas personas solo tienen gatos para que cacen y no les dan cariño ni les ponen comida o muy poca porque según después no cazan. Me prometieron que lo iban a cuidar muy bien y que le iban a dar mucho amor.
I was always waiting to check him and the day I went to look for him they told me that he was fine, that they were looking for a name for him but they could not decide, that while they were calling him misu and that they were going to take care of him, I could not believe it, I was in shock and I told them that I was going to give them 1 month of proof that if I saw a sign of indifference I would take them away because many people only have cats to hunt and do not give them love or put them food or very little because according to them they do not hunt. They promised me that they were going to take good care of him and that they were going to give him lots of love.
Bueno, pasó el tiempo, no se decidieron por un nombre así que se quedó Misu y cuando Misu se quedaba dormido en las piernas o en la barriga de mi papá a ellos les daba parálisis felina y sólo se paraban si realmente era importante porque no querían perturbar el sueño del gatito. ¿Qué los hizo cambiar de opinión sobre los gatos? La verdad, no tengo idea. A veces pienso que fue por imitación y que se dieron la oportunidad de conocer y tratar con un gato, porque solo los que tenemos gatos sabemos lo impresionantes que son.
Well, time went by, they didn't decide on a name so Misu stayed and when Misu fell asleep on my dad's legs or tummy they got feline paralysis and would only stand up if it was really important because they didn't want to disturb the kitty's sleep. What made them change their minds about cats? I really have no idea. Sometimes I think it was by imitation and that they were given the opportunity to meet and deal with a cat, because only those of us who have cats know how awesome they are.
Actualmente Misu tiene 5 años y desde que entró a la casa fue el rey, a pesar de tener una apariencia de amargado ama que lo carguen como si fuera un bebé, que le hablen bonito y le den besitos, eso sí, no le gusta que se sienten en su lado del mueble a menos que lo tengan a él encima 🤭, se enoja y da unas miradas que si mataran más de uno ya no estuviera vivo 🤭 y tampoco le agradan los visitantes, se esconde.
Currently Misu is 5 years old and since he entered the house he was the king, despite having a bitter appearance he loves to be held as if he were a baby, to be talked to and kissed, he does not like to be sat on his side of the furniture unless he is on top of it 🤭, he gets angry and gives some looks that if they killed more than one he would not be alive 🤭 and he does not like visitors either, he hides.
A mi madre le da miedo bañarlo, sabemos que ellos se asean solitos pero es bueno bañarlo cada cierto tiempo porque duerme en la cama con mis padres, usualmente pone su cabecita en el extremo de la almohada de mi madre, es por ello que hay que darle una ayudita de vez en cuando. Cuando le toca arma un drama gigantesco 😂 y cuando lo voy a secar me mira con gran desprecio 🤭.
My mother is afraid to bathe him, we know that they clean themselves but it is good to bathe him every so often because he sleeps in bed with my parents, he usually puts his head on the end of my mother's pillow, that's why we have to give him a little help from time to time. When it's his turn he makes a huge drama 😂 and when I go to dry him he looks at me with great disdain 🤭.
Mi madre se asusta porque muchas veces me gruñe y bufa tanto que pareciera que me va a hacer muchísimo daño, pero, yo simplemente le hablo y cuando llega el momento le regaño; a mí nunca me ha hecho daño, solo me medio aprieta con sus dientes como diciéndome que ya basta y le regaño, él sabe cuándo ya está casi seco y me lo hace saber. Sin embargo, cuando mi hermana lo baña, es otra historia, ella si termina herida 🤭, la araña toda.
My mother gets scared because many times he growls and snorts so much that it seems like he is going to hurt me a lot, but, I just talk to him and when the time comes I scold him; he has never hurt me, he just squeezes me with his teeth as if telling me that enough is enough and I scold him, he knows when he is almost dry and he lets me know. However, when my sister bathes him, it's a different story, she ends up hurt 🤭, he scratches her all over.
Hace 2 años Lucero y yo pasamos una temporada en la casa de mis padres, Misu me odiaba, porque le llevé a una intrusa por lo que me veía y se iba amargado para otro lugar, hasta que sucumbió ante los encantos de Lucero y volvió a la normalidad, pero, ocurrió algo sorprendente, los dos están esterilizados y Misu la empezó a buscar para copular, lo que desencadenaba una batalla bastante fea y teníamos que rescatar a Misu de las garras de Lucero 😬.
2 years ago Lucero and I spent a season at my parents' house, Misu hated me, because I brought him an intruder so he saw me and went bitter for another place, until he succumbed to Lucero's charms and returned to normal, but, something surprising happened, both are sterilized and Misu started looking for her to copulate, which triggered a pretty ugly battle and we had to rescue Misu from Lucero's clutches 😬.
Misu había vuelto anímicamente a la normalidad hasta que apareció una gatita en el jardín de la casa, Lisa. Misu se enfureció hasta con lucero porque las veía jugar, cosa que hacía que Lucero la despreciara por momentos hasta que a ella le dejó de importar si él se molestaba, en otro post les contaré la historia de Lisa.
Misu was back to normal until a kitten appeared in the garden of the house, Lisa. Misu became furious even with Lucero because she saw them playing, which made Lucero despise her at times until she stopped caring if he got upset, in another post I will tell you Lisa's story.
Misu es un gato que si bien ama su territorio es cariñoso y cuando quiere a alguien sea otro animal o humano es precioso 😍, no pudo encontrar un mejor hogar ❤.
Misu is a cat that although he loves his territory he is affectionate and when he loves someone whether it is another animal or human he is precious 😍, he couldn't find a better home ❤.
