Clivia: the orange flower that you can see everywhere!
๐ผ Clivia season is here ๐ผ
It's clivia season and Buhito knows it. A couple of months ago I published in a general post about flowers in my garden some photos of the clivias in my house, so, seeing again the blooming of this picturesque and decorative flower, I wanted to make a special post exclusively for it.
This plant can be easily seen everywhere, it is one of the most resistant I've seen, it endured a terrible frost this winter and still bring out its orange flowers and my garden was literally painted bright orange. This is the time of the year when this flower predominates in all the houses, squares, parks and even on the asphalts, because if there is a flower that blooms anywhere, it is the clivia.
Buhito went out to walk around his garden and took pictures with some of them since there were too many and the post would take forever, I think it is the most common flower in my garden and in fact more of them are still blooming. As I am writing this post I am observing the new blooms, so there are clivia for a while.
If there is one thing I really like about this plant it is its resilience and wherever you plant it, it will grow and bloom, you cut it and it keeps coming up with blooms. I say this because we took some of these flowers to my grandmother on her grave and wherever we pull them out there are new blooms ready to be born.
I love clivias, they are lovely flowers and Buhito went out in search of the prettiest ones as unfortunately, despite being hardy, some insects don't forgive them and eat them, but they keep growing, it's genius and I hope they keep growing for many more winters.
Thanks for reading, Buhito greets you!

You have no idea what memories this plant, this flower, brings back to me. It was in my great aunt's house, and after many years I had it in my own house.... now I don't have a garden but it is everywhere in this city. Thank you so much Yami!๐
This flower, besides being beautiful, can be found anywhere, it is resistant and lasts many months in bloom, here it is full of clivias haha
Thank you dear, I'm glad it brought back memories ๐

No soy muy buena reconociendo algunas flores y plantas! ๐
๐ต๏ธ๐ฆjeje!
Ahahaha so funny the photos, the little owl here, the little owl there, the little owl on either side. So much personality!
The flower is gorgeous and how nice to see the shades of their colors in the photos, makes the images very visually appealing.
I hope they continue to bloom this pretty despite the insect damage, they are definitely a beautiful present to take to your grandma.
The owl wanted to be in all the pictures, the idea was to show the flower, but he got in all of them because he didn't want to be less haha ๐
They are quite resistant and in my garden there are everywhere haha if one dries up, there are 80 more, I don't know where they came from, but they are very beautiful ๐
Thank you very much for your visit ๐
I fell in love with the first pic, Buhito looks so cute! I think I haven't seen this plant here in my country, but the colors are gorgeous and the shape of the petals as well
Buhito loves flowers, but he always has to be in the pictures because he wants to be figureti all the time haha ๐
I have never seen this flower here. Maybe if I go to the botanical garden... I was just thinking I'd tell you to concentrate on this area instead of leading apocalypses. Hahaha...๐
How about an apocalypse of orange flowers? Not that I'm thinking about apocalypses all the time... no no no no....
Well yes
