Question of the week 9.3: MIRACLES

Q: Have you ever witnessed Miracles?Strikethrough

Just days after writing about how suffering doesn’t undermine Gods existence, we are writing now about MIRACLES. This is going to be an interesting piece from everyone participating trust me, because I can’t recall how many miracles are performed daily world wide by God through different anointed men of God.
DEFINITION:
I will start my article by giving definitions of the word “MIRACLE”

Personally I would describe miracle as a supernatural/spiritual occurrence of healing or positive changes in a body or vessel. Miracles are not natural occurrence. That can be made manifested by anybody, they can only manifest through spirituality. In other to further buttress the point of miracles being a spiritual manifestation I’ll be giving some references in the Bible.- 1.

Some miracles in the Bible includes:

1. Jesus turning water to wine (john 2:1-11)
2. Feeding 5000 people with loafs and fishes (John 6:5-14)
3. Jesus walking on water (John 6:16-24)
4. Jesus healing the man bling from birth (John 9:1-7).

Below I will be sharing a personal experience I have had in the past.

INCIDENT:
Many years back, it all started one sunny morning my mum left home and went to our usual family hospital for a random check up, said she was feeling indifferent and wanted to just go seek the doctors counseling on what to do. On getting there I got a call from her that I needed to come to the hospital and meet her, that someone needs to be with her. I got there all smiles thinking it was no big deal. On getting there my dear mum was on drip and receiving treatment. I was like well it’s normal, we take drip once in a while to flush the system, then I went back home to get something for here (can’t remember what exactly) but on getting back to the hospital. My mum was lying on the bed lifeless, the needle from the drip had been removed already, I was told her body was reacting negatively to the drip. had to call my dad on phone to please be on ground because they were about to refer a lifeless person to another hospital. Meaning they didn’t want the death of my mum to be on their hands.

After two vehicles insisted on not carrying a corpse (my mum) In their
cars, we finally got a van to convey her to a general hospital close to us, on getting to the hospital without any form of oxygen whatever my mum was Placed lying in the van without pulse, at this point she appeared dead without pulse or heart beat but the faith we had was not disturbed. We kept believing. Getting to the hospital, more drama. turned out there was no available bed for admission. My mum looking lifeless was kept on a wheelchair, still with no pulse or heart beat and still hasn’t been declared dead yet.
After 3 hours, guess what a bed was available only because the patient
died that minute. The corpse was taken away and my mum was placed on the bed. A woman that appeared lifeless and without pulse was then placed on oxygen, that was how the treatment started. She was in coma for close to three weeks even with every negative information we were getting from the doctors about what might be wrong with her.

About 6 major tests were carried out but no clear indication of what she was diagnosed with, this carried on and on for weeks and we almost lost hope because at this point she was not receiving any definite treatment, also she was still in coma and nothing was encouraging. But after numerous prayer sessions and fasting. finally she was out of coma, yeah you might think it is because of the treatment or whatever but I kid you not that there was no definite diagnosis to what was wrong with my mum at that time.. if this wasn’t a “MIRACLE” I don’t know what else is. Plus she even lost her memory, and we all her children were appearing like strangers to her but we looked after her regardless of her condition and showered her with all the love she could ever hope for in life.
Doctors said it would take months or even a year for her to get her memory back. What was funny was that 5 days after she was back home Miraculously her memory was refreshed like an hacked hard drive. Yeah our mum was Back and to her best. Indeed that wasn’t a natural occurrence because all the information we were getting then by science and technology were very inaccurate, truly that was divinely spiritual.
CONCLUSION:
That was one of many miraculous occurrences I’ve witness but this was one I felt directly and I’m always thankful about that always. Because there is a God that performs miracles in different ways.
