Abundance tribe bi-weekly question. “MY SUCCESS STORY“

I was skeptical when I was sent the link to this wonderful contest, but at first glance I was amazed at the question because I’ve been itching to create a content related to small successful businesses but I haven’t had the perfect story to write about, even before I came across this contest.

THE QUESTION “what is your ideal version of success?. What does it look like and how can you get there?”

The word “Success” or the term “being successful” can be interpreted in various ways, before I continue I would like to give different definitions about the word.

Success can be said to be your ability to do much more than what was planned or to undertake an assignment and giving your maximum.

Success can also be said to be ones understanding about the difference between wants and needs. In this sense if you can meet your monthly obligations and fulfill your basic needs, you are successful, take into consideration also that if you can be able to identify when you absolutely need something and when you can do without it often leads to financial stability and it’s one of the best foundation to success.

Success can also be said to be your determination to never give up. If you give up on a particular goal or aim there is no way you can achieve anything therefore taking you away from the path of success entirely.

I would also like you to note that being successful isn’t necessary about being wealthy or having fame. One can have fame and not be successful one can also be wealthy and not be successful. success easily means attaining a place of fulfillment about a target/goal.

Below I will be listing the main attributes to possess to become successful.

1. DRIVE: you need to have the determination to work harder than most and make sure things get done.you pride yourself on seeing things getting completed and you take charge when necessary. You drive yourself with purpose and align yourself with excellence.

2. SELF-RELIANCE: you can shoulder responsibilities and be accountable. You make hard decisions and stand by them. To think for yourself is to know yourself.

3. WILLPOWER: you have the strength to see things through you don’t validate or procrastinate. When you want it you make it happen.

4. PATIENCE: you are willing to be patient, and you understand that in everything. There are failures and frustrations. To take them personally would be a detriment.

5. INTEGRITY: this is one of the most important attributes you can cultivate, honesty is the best policy for everything you do. Integrity creates character and defines who you are.

6. PASSION: if you want to succeed if you want to live, it’s not politeness but rather passion that will get you there. Life is 10 percent what you experience and 90 percent how you respond to it.

7. CONNECTION: you need to relate with others be social I’m influential areas, which makes everything reach further and deepen in importance.

8. OPTIMISM: this is a strategy for making a better future. Unless you believe that the future can be better, you’re unlikely to step up and take responsibility for making it so.

9. SELF-CONFIDENCE: you trust yourself. It is as simple as that because when you have that unshakable trust in yourself you’re already one step closer to success.

10. COMMUNICATION: you work to communicate and pay attention to communicators around you. Moat importantly you hear what’s not being said. When communication is present trust and respect follows.

In regard to possessing these attributes stated above, also note than these attributes are not innate, they’re self driven and are as a result of how you build yourself and mind. Even many that possesses these attributes still haven’t been leading successful lives but that doesn’t mean they’re far from having their own success story. bear in mind that everybody has his or her own destiny and time. destiny can be delayed but never denied.
success doesn’t have a time frame it will come according to how you put in work and with your perseverance. This article has really opened my mind to some attributes I never really thought I had myself. Hopefully I’ll be publishing my own success story soon.
