Colors and my emotions - Does my favorite color reveal my personality? ✨ [ESP/ENG]

Hello friends of the community ❤️ I welcome all readers who visit me this time, to discuss a topic that is closely related to our emotions and without realizing it, we find them everywhere, and I mean the colors. I am not sure if at some point I talked about this, but this time I want to focus on the relationship of that color that we choose to represent us and we consider favorite with our personality.

It is believed that being surrounded by a certain color, influences us in some way in the way we are, and I think it goes beyond that and is just that, a belief. As a quick anecdote that I can tell you to support this answer, it was the color of my room that accompanied me for a long time, colors that according to studies are not recommended because they "alter" so to speak our emotions, perhaps because of the impact it causes visually and what it transmits to us. The colors I am referring to were fuchsia and green, yes... I don't know what I was thinking when I agreed to have these colors, but the truth is that I don't remember that the combination of both colors so vibrant influenced or altered my emotions, way of being or personality as such, the only change I noticed was my dislike for them over the years. Later when I had the opportunity, I managed to change these colors to more neutral ones to give harmony to my room and make it easier to match the furniture I used.

I think that although there are conflicting opinions, in the end it is up to each person to decide according to his or her experience and taste, without getting carried away by what for years they have wanted to sell us and make us believe.

Have we ever wondered why yellow means or transmits happiness, joy and wealth, red love and passion, green health, blue hope, white peace and black elegance or death?...do they really cause us that effect, and why we like or call our attention to one more than the other?.... Curiosities that a restless mind and a little crazy would do, and although I am no expert in this area, for me it is very curious and striking to know them, to know if they are true or false.

What do we feel when our hair is a certain color? Maybe blue, pink, green or red, colors that do not go unnoticed at all but somehow cause us much satisfaction on an emotional level to wear it, the reasons are endless, especially in a fairly modern society where it is not frowned upon to follow it for fashion, for some artist, because it favors us or just because we like this color, but what I do believe is that it does not reveal our way of being or personality, I think we are born with it, as we grow we improve it if necessary but our taste or choice of colors are a nice accessory that complements us and why not? ...they are a source or means to transmit some expression or emotion. I doubt very much that a sad person would wear yellow clothes, or that a funeral would not wear the typical black clothes, but I think that, beyond revealing our personality, it helps us to communicate or reveal a more characteristic emotion, at a certain time and place.

Are we happy when we are surrounded by vibrant and bright colors or do we become sad, upset, angry and discouraged when it is a darker color or it is not to our liking?😅, Does it happen only to me or certainly these influence changing our way of being, according to the beliefs of their respective meaning.🤔😁

In my opinion I believe that color can influence someone. When it comes to hair color, I like black and I am not comfortable with other colors.

True 😅, I also share your opinion because I wouldn't feel comfortable maybe with such a flashy color either. I don't go to the extreme because I like pink I would wear my hair dyed haha. Thanks so much for visiting me friend!🤗

I also felt a bit relaxed when I changed mine...maybe because I didn't like the color at all😅. I understand you because the ones I currently have (beige) or cream, convey more serenity to me!. In the end with what you tell me, my conclusion is that if they influence us, as long as it is in positive all good!!!🤗. Thank you very much for visiting my friend!

Hahaha 😅 well I'm not an interior decorator but I think white is ideal to match any color of furniture and accessories for the room, a literal canvas ( white), and if you already have a decor in mind, you can go from there. I for example have one very similar to white, plus it looks beautiful with wood furniture and I like it. 🤗 Thanks so much for visiting me friend!!!!

Great post. There are colors I love but don't love to see in my room. Take blue for an example, blue is my favorite. But the way it makes my room appear isn't something I like. White on the other hand is what I refer to be in my room.

All the same, your post is informative, and I'm glad you shared it with us. Have a great day.

I think the same as you!!!, Maybe I like purple, yellow or pink, but not for that reason I like it to the point of wearing it in my hair, clothes or room walls, although I have also known testimonials of people who use them and like the emotion it transmits to them. Thank you so much to you for visiting me and your support, I'm glad you liked it!!!🤗💕

I do believe that there is a relationship between our mood and the colors we use, because there is a certain tendency to choose one or another color to dress for example, but also influences the personality of each person, there is an inexplicable tendency towards a certain color, I do not know what the reason is but I have seen people who identify with a particular color and are pigeonholed in that so much so that it seems that there are no other colors. I have also known people who establish a color for each week and adjust their wardrobe to that planning. Regarding colors, I think we will find a wide spectrum. My regards!

You are very right, as you say everything is in the personality of each person, there are those who certain colors convey a certain emotion while others just like it without more. Thank you very much for visiting me and commenting, best regards friend!🤗💕
