El Día de la Madre se celebra al parecer en días diferentes en otros países, acá en el mío es el segundo domingo del mes de mayo. Y para no dejar escapar esta fecha tan importante por alto, además de que este año coincidiera con las vacaciones de mi hermano, pues decidimos hacer algo para celebrar en familia. Solo que corrimos la actividad para un día antes, el sábado, porque el domingo, día de las madres, me tocaba guardia de 24 horas.

Ya teníamos medio planificado lo que íbamos a hacer, al menos la idea, porque nada es perfecto. Queríamos encargar una panetela como cada año, quizás nadie se acuerde de las que venían en los tiempos de antes por cada núcleo familiar en las bodegas. También pensamos en hacer alguna cardoza, asar al carbón algunas piezas de pollo, más lo que fuera apareciendo por el camino.
