More Feedback for Threads

Hello LeoFinance Community!

A few days ago, I shared some #feedback for the new UI of Threads. You can see that post here. Today I want to share as much feedback as possible. I hope this information is useful. Let's start!

• The first thing I would love to see is a thread counter on my profile.

• I wouldn't say I like having pending notifications. It doesn't matter how much I click notifications, I still see the number. Maybe we would need a button to mark them as read.

• Count the total number of tags when some are written in lower-case and others are upper-case.

• Add a link to other frontends on the user profile, such as peakd.com, leofinance.io, ecency.com, 3speak channel, etc. Or let the user add their favorite Hive frontends and display those.

• Besides showing LEO rewards, it would be great to display Hive rewards too.

• Some accounts have several tokens powered up. It would be cool to reward people with some of those tokens if they used a tag or set it up in their profile.

• I think there should be some changes in the blockchain, but it would be nice to have the option to make rethreads (like a retweet).

• Have the option to only see threads from people I follow.

• Images and links should not count towards the 240-character limit. Notice how I have almost reached the limit with one image and one link. I've been using URL shorteners and other options to host the images. This way, I have more characters available. Maybe Threads could provide those services.

• Usernames and tags autocomplete. Example:

• Daily stats page to check the total number of threads, most active users, and threads with more engagement and votes. A leaderboard would be nice.

• Option to downvote a thread if it is spam, plagiarism, or abuse.

• Option to hide threads from a specific user without muting them in Hive.

• When clicking a tag, besides seeing the latest threads, you also have the option to see the trending or hot threads by upvotes and by engagement (number of replies). These would be the threads with more upvotes and comments.

• I think this is already available in the old UI and might be already in the works. W need to see the parent post of a thread. Sometimes it's hard to get the context when you see a reply.

• Enable embeds for 3Speak and YouTube videos. I think this will also be added soon.

• A follow button from the profile and a list of suggestions of who to follow depending on the tags that you use and that they use.
