Es ist still um mich geworden. Der Grund, und ob die Reise weitergeht erzähle ich euch hier.

Der Grund: Ich kann anscheinend nicht richtig fahrrad fahren. :P
Ende letzten Jahres habe ich mich mit dem Rad so hart auf die Schnauze gelegt, dass mir der Lenker dabei den Daumen gebrochen hat.

Wurde opperiert. War aber alles halb so wild. Doch fahren konnte ich mit diesem Knubbel am Daumen von dem Gipps natürlich nicht. Das Rad stand also eine Weile still. (Zumal noch eingesaut, von den Touren die Tage zuvor.)

Jetzt muss das Fahrrad erstmal in die Werkstatt. Mal das Trittlager entquietschen, neue Mäntel drauf. Die Pedale, die beim Sturz auch vollkommen zerrissen sind, und das Rücklicht habe ich bereits ausgetauscht. Aber für den Rest fehlt mir einfach das Werkzeug. (Aber hauptsächlich die Geduld. :P)

Ist das gemacht, geht es ab zum Zelten...

It has become quiet around me. The reason, and whether the journey continues I tell you here.

The reason: I can't seem to ride a bike properly. :P
At the end of last year I have put me with the bike so hard on the muzzle that the handlebars have broken my thumb in the process.

Was opperated. But everything was not so bad. But I could not drive with this lump on the thumb of the plaster of course. So the bike stood still for a while. (Especially since still dirty, from the tours the days before.)

Now the bike must first go to the workshop. Time to unsqueak the pedal bearing, new coats on it. The pedals, which are also completely torn in the fall, and the rear light I have already replaced. But for the rest I simply lack the tools. (But mainly the patience. :P)

Once that's done, it's off to camping....

Um meine Taten auf meiner großen Reise auch dokumentieren zu können muss natürlich auch ein Gerät her um dies zu bewerkstelligen.

Einen Laptop hätte ich noch gehabt, allerdings ist der ziemlich groß und die Geräte die man zusätzlich mitschleppen müsste würden zusätzlich noch Platz wegnehmen. Die beste Lösung schien für mich:

Ein Tablet mit Bluetooth Tastatur.

Ich habe mir also ein günstiges Tablet bei Amazon bestellt. Das Beste daran war allerdings, dass direkt schon alles, was ich brauchte, mit dabei war. Schutzhülle, Bluetooth Tastatur und kabellose Maus (Die man allerdings mit Adapter an das Tablet anschließen muss. Daher unnütz.).

In order to be able to document my deeds on my great journey, of course I need a device to do this.

I would still have had a laptop, but it's pretty big and the additional devices you'd have to lug around would take up extra space. The best solution seemed for me:

A tablet with Bluetooth keyboard.

So I ordered a cheap tablet from Amazon. The best thing about it was that everything I needed was already included. Protective case, Bluetooth keyboard and wireless mouse (Which you have to connect to the tablet with an adapter. Therefore useless).

Die Bilder, die unterwegs entstehen, werde ich mit Photoshop Express direkt auf dem Tablet ein bisschen pimpen. Um das alles mal zu testen habe ich diesen Post mit dem Tablet verfasst. Die Tastatur ist nicht optimal, aber die wird ihre Arbeit schon machen.

Abgesehen vom Gewicht verspreche ich mir vom Tablet weitere Vorteile:

  • Netflix
  • E-Books
  • League of Legends Wild Rift (LOOOOL)
  • Discord

Natürlich benötigt das alles eine Internetverbindung um zu funktionieren. Dafür werde ich mir eine Mobilfunk Karte zulegen bei der man für knapp einen Euro am Tag unbegrenzt LTE nutzen kann. Gerade wenn man sich die ganze Zeit dick Streams reinziehen will ist das, denke ich, garnicht mal so die verkehrte Idee.

Da das Wetter jetzt auch wieder besser wird kann man darüber nachdenken sich mal den ganzen Camping Zelt Kram einzupacken und ein Wochenende zelten zu fahren. Eine Strecke wählen, die einer Etappe der "Road to Denmark"-Mission entspräche. Jetzt einen Post zu schreiben, in meinem kuscheligen Heim, am Esszimmer Tresen, das ist einfach. Aber zusammengerollt wie Gollum, beim Zelten, das ist nochmal ne andere Sache. Wir werden es erleben.

Demnächst kommt hoffentlich wieder mehr von mir. Aber erstmal muss das Fahrrad in die Werkstatt

The pictures that are taken on the road, I will pimp a bit with Photoshop Express directly on the tablet. To test all this I wrote this post with the tablet. The keyboard is not optimal, but it will do its job.

Apart from the weight, I expect other advantages from the tablet:

Of course all this needs an internet connection to work. For this I will buy a mobile card with unlimited LTE for about one Euro a day. Especially if you want to watch streams all the time, I think this is not the wrong idea.

Since the weather is now getting better again, i will think about packing up all the camping tent stuff and go camping for a weekend. I will choose a route that would correspond to a stage of the "Road to Denmark" mission. Writing a post now, in my cozy home, at the dining room counter, that's easy. But curled up like Gollum, camping, that's another matter. We will see how it turns out.

Hopefully there will be more from me soon. But first the bike has to go to the workshop.

Sie war wunderschön. 😂
Ich nehm mir nur immer vor das Rad mal sauber zu machen um das dann in die Werkstatt zu bringen, aber kennst mich ja. Ich prokrastiniere dann immer bis zur letzten Sekunde.
