The culture
I don’t know if this is normal in every part of the world but so many Nigerians ladies believe all responsibilities should be on the man alone. I know it your duty as man to take care of your lady but don’t be a parasite. Some girls even go into relationships just to be taken care of and not because of love.
This alone as cause so many failed relationships because when the lady now started having her own money things will now get out of hand. The behavior and the need for security will be gone.
The total dominance
I have seen Nigerians homes where the man have the total dominance, he is in control of everything. The wife must not make any decisions by her self and every decision must pass through him. There is no form of partnership whatsoever and the man also controls the wives money.
I know their is a woman for every man and what you like is actually different from what I like but nothing good as ever come out of this and it only lead to chaos.
What money will cause.
Men now marry who they can kick around like ball and control because the woman is not making her own money and as long he is carrying 100% responsibilities he must have 100% dominance.
The ladies on the other hand are looking for security, money and easy life at all cost. This happened all in the name of survival and when reality set in everything changed.
Give the room.
The country is so fucked and almost every norms out here are not suppose to be. Everyone is looking for where everything is soft and not where they can build for greater tomorrow. If we have better jobs and a much better economy people will be able to think for themselves.
The pain and suffering are making many youth choose wrongly and making bad decisions no matter the cost as long as it involves money we all give room for it.
Conclusion.
Most our problems out here are not really a problem if we have good government but one problem has created many broken youths and more problems in our country.

Hahaha well, we live in a country where decision-making is absolutely messed up. This includes relationship and marriages. Some women needs to development the mindset that they can be independent and make their money

Those ladies don’t believe in making their own money, they just want to enjoy and the funniest part is that you will see 20 years old girl saying she is a failure because she can’t afford what her friends her buying, those friends exchange their body for what they have.

It sounds like things are really rough in Nigeria. The economy tends to follow along with the government and it's tough to change them. Most of the people in charge want to keep their power and I am kind of glad that I live in the US.
