Santa Clause Heard My heart Desire

As a doctor in training, we are expected to realize that holidays are not for us. When our posting schedule was released without the Christmas holiday included, I was disappointed because Christmas has always been one of my favorite memories from childhood. I and a few classmates went to the Head of Department's office to request a Christmas break, but they were unable to assist us.

I gave up and accepted the fact that I would not be able to spend Christmas with my friends and loved ones this year. Just when I thought I'd given up hope, i saw a notice from the university two days ago halting all academic activities until the next month. I cried tears of joy as I read this memo because Santa Claus had granted me my heart's wish.

hAs a result, we gathered today to celebrate Christmas in our own special way by exchanging gifts, watching a movie, singing, and dancing.

Christmas always brings joy, hope and dream, and it means a lot to many people. It's a season for spreading joy, love and goodwill by giving.
