I am a fish lover, especially the river fish or also known as freshwater fish, in the city of Carora (where I live) we are surrounded by a variety of rivers, dams and reservoirs where a group of people go fishing and make that their main economic activity to survive. Near my house there is a group of young people who sell fish guabina, boca de tubo, catfish, this fish is very fresh and its taste is delicious; at home we all enjoy eating this kind of dish so we buy very regularly, preparing a homemade fish grill, delicious, nutritious and healthy.
Ingredientes / Ingredients
1 kilogramo de pescado fresco.
150 ml de aceite vegetal.
1 huevo.
½ taza de harina de maíz.
Sal al gusto.
1 kilogramo de yuca.
5 tomates medianos.
1 cebolla mediana.
1 lechuga pequeña.
1 kg of fresh fish.
150 ml vegetable oil.
1 egg.
½ cup corn flour.
Salt to taste.
1 kilogram of yucca.
5 medium tomatoes.
1 medium onion.
1 small lettuce.
Preparación / Preparation
Por tratarse de un pescado fresco, obtenido de forma artesanal, lo primero que debo hacer es retirar las escamas del pescado, luego le corto la cabeza, lo lavo bien.
Since it is a fresh fish, obtained in a traditional way, the first thing to do is to remove the scales from the fish, then I cut off the head, wash it well.
Seguidamente aderezo con sal al gusto y seguidamente empanizo, pasándolo por huevo batido y luego por harina de maíz, para lograr una corteza dorada y crujiente.

En un sartén colocamos a precalentar el aceite y colocamos a cocinar el pescado previamente empanizado, dejamos cocinar hasta que este bien dorado y volteamos para lograr una perfecta cocción. Por ultimo retiramos del aceite y dejamos escurrir.

Para los contornos, prepare yuca sancochada, la cual pele y lave bien y lleve a cocinar hasta que se ablande.

También realice una fresca ensalada de tomates, lechuga y cebolla, la cual aderece con sal, vinagre y aceite.

Listos todos los contornos, solo hace falta emplatar; aquí en Venezuela la parrilla de pescado se prepara de varias maneras y con diferentes contornos, en mi casa con 2 contornos me resulta ideal, para mi estos contornos combinan perfectamente con este tipo de pescado, los cuales aportan mayor frescura a mi plato y una integración de sabores que me hace querer mas y mas parrilla jajajaja.
Here in Venezuela the fish grill is prepared in several ways and with different contours, in my house with 2 contours is ideal, for me these contours combine perfectly with this type of fish, which bring more freshness to my dish and an integration of flavors that makes me want more and more grill hahahaha.
