Walking away..
Hi.
The prompt of the week includes a very interesting question. It is about walking away to sustain our mental health. Have I done that? I think yes.
I have always been the type of person who has tried my best to compromise and help in making people stay in my life no matter how disturbing their presence was for my mental health and no matter how toxic they were.
This was me. I never knew the importance of mental health untill it was totally messed up. Gradually, I started to learn to value my personal space and mental health. I am a slow learner in such cases, but when I do, I quickly respond in accordance to that.
A colleague of mine used to publicly make fun of my insecurities that I had opened in front of him. At first, I compromised a lot. However, I walked away from him as I appreciated and valued my mental health. Since that very day, I have been conscious in choosing my social circle and very specific about who I open up with.
I guess, we should give a chance to people so that they can learn to improve if they hold any importance in our lives. However, if they still fail in availing the opportunity, we should proudly walk away from them.
How do you deal in such situations? That's the question for today. I have taken these pictures myself. Thanks guys. Take care.

We actually learn everyday even as we grow up. You have set your limits because you now know better and also has grown up. That's life for the humans.
You have put it in such a thoughtful way my Friend.
How are you?
