Going to Mars

Will I go to Mars and start a life there without the prospects of ever coming back to Earth?

Hi everyone. This is my entry to the #weekend-engagement and I will talk about the question mentioned above.

Well, to be really honest with you all, my answer will be a clear no. I think this is a very big decision. If I were to move to Mars, I would have to start from scratch and I am not in favor of that because I would have to give up on everything that I have here on Earth and I am not ready to do that.

Yes, there will be so many new opportunities, but I also have so many opportunities here too. I can capitalize on these opportunities and live a memorable life.

I suffer from separation anxiety. I cannot separate from the things, people and belongings that I have. I would have taken this chance provided that I had the chance to come back as well. With no chances of coming back, I would hesitate a little.

Yes, Earth is messy. We have little opportunities here and the world has become unfair with one class dominating the others. The climate change is making life a living hell here. However, Earth is our home. We cannot leave it when it needs us, can we? It is a subjective question and I would chose to play my part in staying here and giving my contribution in a better future of our home planet.

Lastly, our Earth is so damn beautiful and we have great food here :D
