Rain and Sunset Without A Rainbow
Sunsets are a thing to watch out for especially when you can see it's path. The beautiful moments of it comes and goes so fast that you might miss out on a beautiful shot of it before the clouds shield the fading sun completely.
It's however even more special when you have sunset and rain happening together.
You might just get some freat shots of it if you do so on time.
I was in this situation recently.
The rains have started falling in big torrents recently and it seems the evening rains can't even wait for the sun to set before they come down pouring.
So this was unexpected.
I looked out of my windows and saw the mush of the sunset and the rain occurring. I quickly grabbed my camera and tried to take some shots of it's path through my window.
The rains were heavy.
Within a couple of minutes or so the sun was gone so I was only able to capture how it went down the horizon in little time.
The orange-reddish colour of the sun stood out in the distance and could not go unnoticed, especially since the skies were heavy with rains.
The rains poured out for such a short period too.
Here were the shots I could garner:
Just when the rains started to pour. The sun was already getting "orange"
The skies were heavy with rain at this point. The sun was getting 'fiery orange' as if it was annoyed the rain was getting in its path of setting😅
The sun continued in its descent in the rains
It gets redder
The tinge of the now red sun in the lower left now obscured by the roof in the distance
The sun now out of visual perception and the rains now clearing
