It was 1864, when wizards and witches were not allowed to roam the streets freely. The act of sorcery was banned, and the punishment for practicing magic was death at the gallows.
Despite the king banning magic, he had leagues of magicians and sorcerers at his service. They were called the king's Sorcerers. They were his secret weapon carrying out all sort of missions on his behalf. It kept amazing people how he was able to discover those practicing magic in secret.
Your father was among these King's sorcerers. Your mother wasn't comfortable with this.
"I hate that you have to carry out missions for that evil king with the same sorcery that he banned"
"The only way to survive as A sorcerer here is to be the king's sorcerer. I would have been long dead if I wasn't one"
"Run away with me, to a far away land where he will never find us."
This was A very difficult decision for your father, but loving your mom with all his heart, he started working towards it.
Meanwhile, The King Was Plotting to test a new spell on the villagers, a spell that would make them come up with a deadly disease that only he would have the cure.
Your father wanted no hand in this, so he confided in his best friends Kainjus Reddicus and Serceli known as THE CIRCUS PERFORMER, About his plan to elope with your mother. They promised to help him elope without the king knowing about it.
On the fateful day when they were supposed to elope. As planned once the Town bell chimed 12 times indicating midnight, they carried their Bags and Set off, following a secret route out of the Town that even the king never new existed. Only A few sorcerers knew of this route.
They were almost out of the city, Lo and behold in front of them stood the king and the entire King's sorcerers led by Reddicus and Serceli.

STOPHmm what a turn out of event of the story, now I do know why he killed that traitor and it seem the young wizard is way stronger than The Circus Performer.. Amazing.
But wait a minute, why would a king find a way to spread a disease and be the only cure to it? What's the aim? Very evil if I must say.
I guess the young wizard is the lead character that would save the land 🤪 lemme just be giving myself headline.
