Something Good Has Begun | A 5minutes freewrite

There was a family in a town called Alum that were popularly known for being poor.They were so wretched that feeding was a big problem.

Okey who was the head of the family was a carpenter while his wife Ngozi was a petty trader. Despite their daily struggles, they couldn't earn enough to feed properly.

They gave birth to a child whose name is paul. When paul came of age,they couldn't send him to school. Whenever Paul saw his friends in uniforms and going to school he would always cry. He never went to school, because his father couldn't sacrifice the money they were managing for feeding to send him to school.

One day he asked his dad

"Dad why are we poor?"

"My son, I don't have the answer to that question. Somethings are bigger than human understanding."

Paul decided to pray to God about it.

Two weeks later, a flashy car stopped in front of okey's shop and a good looking, well dressed man alighted and was admiring the works of okey.

To his greatest surprise, it was his long time friend whom he lost connection with long time ago. They sat and okey told him his story and he felt pity for him.

His friend called obinna gave him a contract of furnishing his new house and a hotel he just built. Okey's joy knew no bounds because he knew that "SOMETHING GOOD HAS BEGUN"

They sealed the contract and he was paid three million naira just to begin. Fromn there, He also got contracts from obinna's friends.

Paul was enrolled in school,his wife,Ngozi stopped the petty trade and now has a big supermarket.okey built a big mansion and bought a car. That was how okey and his family were lifted.
