I've finished up another piece in my Animals and Plants series and who doesn't love the adorable Golden Retriever or the ever popular 'Spider plant' ?

In my last in this series I shared, the cat , I had issues with saving and actually LOST my inked layer, so that was to be redrawn , but I decided to move along to the next before readdressing that. Thus, our dear Retriever got her colors and layers made.

I wanted her to be 'retrieving' the plant and who doesn't love a spider plant? I think it might be one of the most popular and also easiest to care for. The little 'babies' it makes on it's long tendrils are so easy to propagate to make more.

I have a spider plant that came from a baby someone gave me years ago and I've passed on many of it's babies. It seems going away to university this would be the plant one could manage in their halls or dorms or first apartments.

Of course there will be detailed patterned background in the black and white version, as when coloring people love many spaces and lines to fill in.

I'm sketching a few more ideas for the next animals and plants. I'm really having fun with this series as it's just a joy to draw and paint 2 of my favorite things.
