A day out Antique shopping on Cape Cod and Getting a Coffee at our Local Cafe

▶️ Watch on 3Speak

I'd meant this video post to be part of #sublimesunday but as is often the case, my luck with #3speak can be iffy. I have to wait for my video to upload, which takes time, but then it needs to be put "onto the blockchain" one supposes,
I can guarntee that I've no idea what that means, tho I know it is a thing. But, I digress...

I'd planned on making my #Sublimesunday a video post, which I'd then edit in hive, once published there via 3speak, but that sometims because problamatic as well, therefore I've decided to upload, write a bit here and let the digital Gods have at it.

Thus, in today's post (Whenever that DAY might be) we are on an outing to a local Antique shop.

I love Antinquing and Thrifting and I hope you do as well, because if so, grab your favorite cuppa, sit back and enjoy our trip. I am trying to learn to film slower and more methodically so that one can see prices and have a little peruse.

In fact, as I edit I find more things I want and also say to myself, in third person, "Slow down, idiot," Or "Wait go back, I didn't quite catch that." But, once it's set to 'digital film' what can one do? Try and learn for the next journey.

I'm also planning on posting this to #CinnamonCupCoffee thread and I hope that is acceptable. You will see we begin our journey stopping at one of our local cafe's which I love. They roast their own coffee and it's wonderful. Tho I am a lover of dark roasts, they specialize in a light roast but I adore it and get a pound each week (whole bean of course) and mix it with dark roast for my morning coffee. So , I hope this coffee visit makes it appropriate for posting in that group.

I hope you enjoy this as a sublime moment , whether Sunday or not, and there is also a short drive in a New England village as well, so I hope that amuses as well.

Thank you for joining me for this Video #BeautifulSunday and I hope you consider joining in with us next time.

#BeautifulSunday and #Sublimesunday are inspired by @ace108 and @c0ff33 so be sure to check them out.

Hello there!
That was quite a coffee experience and a whole lot more. That's a beautiful setup and I LOVE vintage and collectables so it was right up my street.
I thought you were pretty brave to touch all that expensive glass. My sister-in-law collects and sells antique glass, so these reminded me of some I've seen at her place.

Your video is good advertising if anyone from the area reads this.
Thanks for sharing this with us.

... I'm happy that your video loaded eventually, and you may have experienced such delay because it was on the longer side.

Have a great day ahead:)))
Coffee is my Saviour. I shall not want Coffee maketh in green pastures and plantations Coffee restoreth my soul Coffee leadeth me in the paths of green hilly pastures For Caffeeine name sake. Yea though the work is h.jpg

Lovely shop and you’ve done a really good job of highlighting all that’s special about the place (despite your complaints. Hehe)
Old things have so much charm, they come with their own “personality” which makes them so much more exciting than new stuff.

Thank you and I totally agree about old things. I'm always so much more 'at home' around old things that have lived. Thanks for stopping by.

It's my favorite antique place (and we have many) and I LOVE our new coffee house and they do a great job roasting their own beans. We're lucky for sure.

I guess the thing with this type of post is that until you’re editing you might see things that look interesting that you either didn’t think about it simply didn’t notice in person 😆 always things to learn and remember for next time 🙃

Exactly! In fact I use the editing time to do more shopping myself, I've often gone back to get something I didn't 'see' when filming :)

It just occurred to me that that could also be used as a counterargument for viewing everything from behind a camera/phone/whatever, would you have noticed the thing you missed if you had been "in the moment"?

if you're anything like me yes you would have completely missed it both from not seeing it the first time and then not seeing it the second time when editing XD
