Madame Tussauds İstanbul Taksim - Celebrities from World

Müzeye adını veren Marie Tussaud, Fransız bir heykeltıraştır. Fransız ihtilalinde kurbanların balmumu heykellerini yapmasıyla ünlü olmuştur. 1802’de 30 eserden oluşan koleksiyonuyla Londra’ya gelmiştir. Bir çok ülke ve şehirde bal mumu heykelleriyle bu müzeleri bulabilirsiniz. İlk müze sanırım İngiltere Londra'da açılmış bu arada. Biz de İstanbul Taksim'deki Madame Tussauds'a giderek belki de hayatımızda hiç yan yana gelemeyeceğimiz ünlü isimlerle tarihe birer fotoğraf karesi bıraktık. Tabi ki de ülkemizdeki müzenin ilk ünlü heykeli Ulu Önderimiz Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk ile başlıyor. Bir sonraki yazım "Celebrities from Türkiye" olacak.

Marie Tussaud, who gave the museum its name, is a French sculptor. She became famous for making wax statues of victims of the French Revolution. She came to London in 1802 with a collection of 30 works. You can find these museums with wax sculptures in many countries and cities. I think the first museum was opened in London, England, by the way. We went to Madame Tussauds in Istanbul Taksim and left a photo frame in history with famous names that we may never come together with in our lives. Of course, the first famous sculpture of the museum in our country begins with our Great Leader Veteran Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. My next post will be "Celebrities from Turkey".
