Wacky Star Wars and Fortnite Figures

Today, two wacky figures from Jazwares and Hasbro arrived, specifically the 3.75-inch scale Cluck Eggsplosive and the 6-inch scale Jawa with Salacious B. Crumb, respectively.

I enjoy Cluck's outrageous look so much. Unfortunately, my older 6-inch scale Cluck from Hasbro really doesn't stand well, and have toppled his shelfmates time and again. He is too top-heavy. Hopefully, this new 3.75-inch Cluck won't be the same. He also has a different color scheme, so this variation warrants that I get them both.

Below is the older 6-inch scale Hasbro Cluck:

The Star Wars Black Series Holiday Edition line has always been so wacky, with fans on the extreme either having a really good laugh and getting all of them or sickeningly and completely disgusted at their design and denying that they exist. I am somewhere between this range, also because I have never been a completist anyway. The line has a Christmas theme, with Star Wars characters getting a holiday-themed costume not found in any of the shows or movies.

For the Jawa, he got a Santa Claus outfit, while Crumb looks like one of his elves.

A while back, I acquired my first Holiday Edition figure of my favorite trooper, the Snowtrooper, together with my most favorite Star Wars animal, the Porg. I feel like the Porg was just an afterthought, thrown in to sweeten the figure and make it more sellable. This is because it is not mentioned in the box, unlike how Crumb was mentioned in the Jawa box. The marketing tactic worked, at least for me. Jawa and Crumb are my second, and probably last, collection for this line.

Action figure collecting has always delighted me no end, and it makes me say I am happy to be Alive and Thriving!
