Eesah -Timeless Album Two Thumbs Up!
Eesah, a rising Reggae artiste released an album on February 25th with 8 banging songs. They all seem to be produced by 808 Delavega. Now that name may sound familiar as "Delavega" is a place in Spanish Town Jamaica always mentioned by Chronixx.
The album has some well produced tracks more on the new ear Dancehall side and Eesah's chill vibes along with conscious lyrics gives the perfect balance. I went and found 3 of the songs on the album on SoundCloud and embedded them below. But trust, give the full album a listen on Spotify or your prefer-ed streaming service. It is one of those albums where you don't want to skip the tracks but just listen, chill and hold a meds.
Timeless
Timeless is the first track on the album and speaks about the struggles of the come up and how many don't see that but they only see the Benz and that is when the start to respect you. The punch line is gold:
"Nuh tell me seh yuh nuh real nuh dawg cause a woman mi love and di gyal dem stray too."
Love
Eesah has a good balance of love songs and chill hardcore. With that vibe I can see him touring extensively in the months ahead. The melody/the way he plays with the word love in the chorus punch is simple, unique and catchy. Check out the song titled Love below.
Big Ship
It seems that the management company/ executive production team sees the Eesah's chill love songs are his selling point as these are the main songs they have showcased on their SoundCloud page. This track below calld Big Ship has a classy sax plaing alsong with the modern chill Danchall and they belnd so well. Eeasah lyrics also sounds very similar, I hope they got clearance for that one.
There is a very chill album with some modern Dancehall tracks and Eesah brings that new era roots vibes to the mix. A formula I think will cross over very easily and open many doors for the artiste.
