What I can see in this week's image is a black and white mural showing children, young people, women and men of an indigenous population, in our country they are spread and predominate in the states: Amazonas, Zulia, Bolivar, Delta Amacuro, Anzoátegui, Sucre, Monagas and Apure.

It reminded me of a Venezuelan novel called Kaina, where one of the characters was an Indian named Tacupay, faithful companion of Maniña, based on the legend of the Yanomami ethnic groups of the Venezuelan Amazon, where its landscapes and place was the Canaima National Park, with its spectacular environments, was the jungle itself, it was a story of magic and love, in the town called Ignacio del cocuy, and dealt with issues of guerrilla warfare and gold smuggling, as these ethnic groups live.

She was a powerful woman of the jungle, her parents a Yanomami indigenous princess of the Amazon and an adventurous gold digger, she was abandoned and raised by a herd of jaguars until she was one year old and a Yanomami shaman raised her, he taught her all the mysteries of the jungle, to read the stones, whisper of the rivers, and to communicate with animals and shamanic amulets, She made a pact with the moon which would be broken if she saw the eyes of her firstborn, for this she bathed in jaguar milk, the pact was broken and she could get old if she became pregnant, which happened because she became pregnant and it was then when she ordered the Indian Tacupay to kill her daughter and remove her heart as proof and follow the lunar pact, but the Indian did not fulfill the order and brought her an animal heart, giving the girl away. This story reflects the reality of the peoples of the Amazon.

Lo que puedo ver en la imagen de esta semana, es un mural blanco y negro mostrando unos niños, jóvenes, mujeres y hombres de una población indígena, en nuestro país se extienden y predominan en los estados: Amazonas, Zulia, Bolívar, Delta Amacuro, Anzoátegui, Sucre, Monagas y Apure.

Me hizo recordar una novela Venezolana llamada Kaina, donde unos de los personajes era un indio llamado Tacupay fiel acompañante de Maniña, basada en la leyenda de las etnias Yanomami del Amazonas Venezolano, donde sus paisajes y lugar era el parque nacional Canaima, con sus espectaculares ambientes, era la propia selva, se trataba de una historia de magia y amor, en el pueblo llamado Ignacio del cocuy, y trataban temas de la guerrilla y contrabando del oro, tal cual viven estas etnias.

Era una poderosa mujer de la selva, sus padres una princesa indígena yanomami del Amazonas y un aventurero buscador de oro, fue abandonada y criada por una manada de jaguares hasta que tuvo un año y un chamán yanomami la crio, el le enseño todos los misterios de la selva, a leer las piedras, susurro de los ríos, y a comunicarse con los animales y amuletos chamánicos, ella hizo un pacto con la luna el cual se rompería si veía los ojos de su primogénito, Para ello se bañaba en leche de jaguar, el pacto se rompía y podía envejecer si quedaba embarazada, lo que ocurrió porque quedó embarazada y fue entonces cuando ordenó al indio Tacupay que matara a su hija y le quitara el corazón como prueba y seguir el pacto lunar, pero el indio no cumplió la orden y le trajo un corazón de animal, regalando a la niña. Esta historia refleja la realidad de los pueblos del Amazonas.
