Beer Diary - Windstorm West Coast Pale Ale

@go-kyo mentioned #BeerSaturday last week and I saw @akipponn posting as well, so here I am! I love beer! 🥰

I used to like drinking wine but I don't drink it as much since I started to have itchy skin when I drink wine. Especially when I drink red wine, I get some itchy patches right away. I was told that I was allergic to some kind of preservative, but I don't know for sure.

I've been trying some of the local beer nowadays. There are many breweries around Vancouver.
My favourite beer these days is a pale ale from Stanley Park Brewing
I choose the beer by the design of the can when I want to explore something new. I found this one when it was on sale hehe.

5.4% alcohol. It’s refreshing with just the right amount of bitterness.
The price was $2.89 for a 473ml long can.
It is a long can, so one is quite enough for me.
If I drink two of this, I’ll be a jolly old lady haha
I like to have some beer while I work on things like writing my blog and preparing food...so I need to be careful not to drink too much or I won't get any work done.

I wonder what kind of glass people use for beer…
I usually use this tumbler for both tea and beer. I bought it to use while commuting to work (not for beer!🤣), but the lid stopped working properly right away, so I started using it at home. I like the design.

I thought it might be fun to look for a beer glass just for #BeerSaturday.
Today I thought it would be better to be able to see the colour of the beer, so I poured it into a mason jar.
Doesn't the foam look yummy?
It was delicious 🥰

少し前まではワインが好きでよく飲んでいたのですが、ワインを飲むと体が痒くなるようになってから、あまり飲みません。特に赤ワインを飲むと体が痒くなります。なんとかという保存料にアレルギーなんじゃ？と良く言われるのですが、はっきりしたことは分かっていません。

さてさて、最近はローカルなビールをいただく事が多くなりました。バンクーバー周辺にたくさんのブルワリーがあるんです。
今日のビールは最近一番お気に入りのStanley Park Brewing のペールエールです。
缶のデザインでビールを選ぶこともあります。このビールにはセールでお安くなっていた時に出会いました。

アルコール分は5.4％、苦味スッキリ飲みやすくて喉越しが良くて、ごくんっと飲み込んだ時に喉がシュワっと冷たくなる感じがとても爽やかなビールで、お値段は473mlのロング缶で2.89ドルでした。
ロング缶なので一本飲むとお腹いっぱいです。
これを二本飲むと陽気なかあちゃんの出来上がりです。
作業をしながら飲むのが好きなので…ブログを書いたりご飯の用意をしたりね…飲みすぎると作業が進まないので要注意です。

皆さん、ビールのグラスはどんなものを選んでいるのでしょうね。
私は普段、お茶を飲むのもビールを飲むのも、このタンブラーを使っています。通勤用に買ったのですが (お茶用ですよ！🤣）、すぐに蓋がちゃんと閉まらなくなり、家で使うようになったものです。デザインが気に入っています。

#BeerSaturday用にビールのグラスを選ぶのも楽しいかもと思いました。
今日はビールの色が分かったほうが良いのかなと思いメイソンジャーに注いでみました。
泡が美味しそうでしょ〜
