Matrix is a science fiction film with lots of action scenes and ingenious and innovative special effects, but beyond that it also has a very interesting plot in which the AI has taken control of the world and keeps humans immersed in a virtual reality that is nothing other than the way we have lived; the daily problems of human beings; illnesses, conflicts, intrigues, wars, mixed with our emotions; vanities, jealousies, ideologies, ambitions, only that these experiences are not real, it is the Matrix that controls them while we are inside a capsule or a kind of incubator and our nervous system is connected to the Matrix.

This film analyses a deep philosophical content at the moment when the Matrix through a security program of the Matrix (Agent Johnson) who is the main villain of the film. Esta película analiza un profundo contenido filosófico en el momento en que Matrix a través de un programa de seguridad de Matrix (Agente Johnson) que es el villano principal de la película. Al someter e interrogar a Morfeo, le hace ver que Matrix concibió originalmente un mundo sin conflictos, sin problemas, sin guerras, una utopía, pero los seres humanos en ese mundo paradisíaco morimos dentro de Matrix, esto no era conveniente para Matrix, ya que servíamos de energía (batería) por lo que fue necesario eliminar ese programa y crear un mundo muy parecido al nuestro, con problemas, conflictos y sentimientos que nos caracterizan.

En esta dualidad de mundos se desarrolla la trama; en el mundo real muestra grandes cualidades humanas y valentía que también muestra en el mundo creado por Matrix pero en este último; debido a estas cualidades positivas adquiere agilidades únicas superiores a otros humanos; incluso resucita de entre los muertos, y más tarde en otras sagas, recusa a la mujer que ama, luego se convierte en mártir aceptando ser sacrificado a favor de la humanidad. Podríamos hablar mucho más de esta película, cada receptor puede tener una interpretación personal, puede ser diferente o igual a esta, o coincidir con algo de lo aquí expuesto.

Quizá el autor de esta película copió algunas ideas de la Biblia, concretamente de los cuatro Evangelios que hablan de la vida y obra de Jesucristo, que era un hombre nuevo, el Mesías esperado según las profecías. La palabra Neo se ajusta a esta realidad dando un carácter filosófico y casi espiritual a toda la trama.
