22.200 Schritte und die erste Woche zurück in Deutschland
Hallo Freunde,
Nach 10 Monaten in der Dominikanischen Republik bin ich zurück nach Deutschland gezogen und vor einer Woche angekommen.
Hier werde ich ein paar Wochen oder ein paar Wochen länger bleiben und dann weiter nach Asien, genauer in die Philippinen ziehen. Wenn man so will, ein langer Stopover.
... und irgendwie bin ich froh, dass meine Zeit in der DomRep vorbei ist. Es ist ein schönes Land und wahrscheinlich für die meisten Menschen auch ein lebenswertes Land. Jedoch nicht für mich.
Ein Freund hat mir vor Jahren gesagt: Wenn man Asien liebt, ist die Karibik nichts zum Leben und er hatte recht.
Aber trotz allem, es war eine schöne Zeit.

Hello friends,
After 10 months in the Dominican Republic I moved back to Germany and arrived a week ago.

... and somehow I am glad that my time in the DomRep is over. It is a beautiful country and probably for most people also a livable country. However, not for me.
A friend told me years ago that if you love Asia, the Caribbean is nothing to live in and he was right.
But despite everything, it was a great time.
