Everyone has a particular colour that they like to wear while purchasing clothing, shoes, other accessories and items. I, too, have a preferred shade that has significantly enhanced my personality.

• I Am A Person With A Blue Personality

Blue has always been my lucky colour. It's a colour that makes me feel quiet and serene. I feel a wave of tranquillity sweep over me whenever I see the colour blue, whether in the outfit I wore, the blueness of the sky or anything that is depicted on an object. I figured out as a child that I had a thing for the colour blue. I remember feeling astonishment and exhilaration as I looked up at the magnificent blue sky. The colour seemed to engulf me, filling me with joy. Since then, I've associated the hue blue with joy and abundance.

As I became more mature, I began to incorporate the colour blue into my life in a variety of ways. I suggested my mother to have my room paint in blue (in which my father protested because he reasoned that blue colors are for dudes. He even suspected me a TOMBOY - I am the only rose among the thorns of my siblings). I adorned myself with blue accessories, even my bed cover, blanket and pillows has a shades of blue. I even chose blue as the most prevalent colour in my outfit.

Among the gemstones that my father gifted me, my favourite is the stunning pendant that he has purchased when he visited their Pilot Project on Potatoes in Sri Lanka (he's a Technology Transfer Associate of an NGO). It's a Velvet Blue Sapphire as they coined it. Dad gave it to me on Christmas Day. Every time I wore it, I felt a rush of positive vibrations, as if the colour was giving me goodwill. I even won a prize in a numbers game in one occasion while wearing it. I don't know if it's a coincidence or the gemstone has really given me luck.

Blue, I believe, has a strong influence on my emotional and mental state. It has a relaxing and comforting impact on me, assisting me in rejuvenating and finding inner serenity. When I'm uncertain or uneasy, I just look at something blue or visit my Mom's garden and touch the flowers in the with blue colors and it took away my blues. By the way, my favourite flowers aside from orchids are the blue hydrangeas. 🤗

Beyond that, the colour blue has always held a unique significance for me. It is linked to values like confidence, commitment, and honesty. These are the principles I cherish and seek to emulate in my life. The colour blue reminds me to stay true to myself and to always act with openness and truthfulness. Also, the colour is adaptable and can be seen in ordinary items, works of art (my needleworks has a shades of blue), and natural settings. I can't help but be mesmerised by the way a stunning sunset's blue tones merge together or by how a clear blue sky contrasts with the lush foliage of ecosystems.

• I Am A Person Dominated By Blue Aura

When I was a teenager, my father's colleague, an Indian visitor Scientist who also understands how to read auras, told me that I have a BLUE AURA that occasionally changes to PINK. I was puzzled as to what he meant, so I did some research and found out that a person with BLUE AURA is powerful, insightful, and flowing while the PINK AURA stands for compassionate, caring, and loving.

By the way, we all have AURA and it changes from time to time.

When I feel blue, I view the world in glittering silver blue. I feel energetic that heightens awareness of my innate blazes and offers a greater sensation of life when someone gets chilly rain. When I see them looking down and frowning fully while a moon is overhead and stars can be seen upon the skies blanketing the earth.
