Happy Thursday to everyone, day to remember, #TBT day today it's time to remember and this time I want to remember my first and only guitar and its journey in my hands. When I was a teenager I told my parents how much I loved art, that's why I danced so much ballet and although I was absent due to economic problems I didn't want to stay away from art and I even took the opportunity to experience other types of art, including music.

My dad bought me my first guitar and to complete it he made a particular purchase, a left-handed guitar (because I am left-handed) electro acoustic, that is to say that it worked so that it sounded without any equipment and it had batteries and cables to connect it to an amplifier. It was a really interesting purchase because of the choice of being left-handed, the truth is that although I am left-handed I never thought about learning an instrument just like that, but my father gave me that opportunity.

I started first with private lessons both guitar and musical language. My guitar teacher had to leave but the musical language classes continued and I loved them because they were for instruments in general and I know a lot about music and I have the ear that I have thanks to those classes. After a while something called the "Guitar Orchestra" was formed where, apart from continuing to see musical language, we now played pieces together, many guitars together and even sometimes accompanied by other classical music instruments.

What I loved the most is that in that orchestra they let me play left-handed, because I was already trained and I knew how to play that way, so at first, and one of the pictures you can see it, as in fact my arm was the opposite of my partner's and everyone else's, I thought it was funny even though I knew that at some point maybe they would see it uneven or wrong. The time I was in that orchestra I met some very nice people, incredible musicians and I learned a lot and I wanted to show them in the photos I have.

I hadn't thought about what a left-handed person in the midst of so many right-handed people could cause visually in an orchestra until reading your post hahaha. Anyway, if it was a Sistema group, there is always room for everyone and I'm glad it was your case. In my opinion, talent is the most important thing.... I'm glad you enjoyed that time, this kind of groups usually leave good friendships along the way. Thanks for sharing this anecdote in #tbt Thursdays Shana ✌️
