at the Museum 📸 Monomad Challenge
The tsunami that occurred in Aceh, Indonesia on December 26, 2004, was one of the biggest disasters in the 20th century. It was recorded that 230 thousand people were declared dead after the disaster that occurred on Sunday morning. Not only in the province of Aceh, the same tsunami also hit Thailand and even India.
The tsunami disaster began after an earthquake measuring up to 9 SR. Many residents who were on vacation spent Sunday at the beach or local residents who were off work were at home.
The disaster occurred in a matter of minutes, it was recorded that the earthquake lasted almost 2 minutes. At that time I was still in 3rd grade of high school. I have been witnessing such a terrible earthquake. Coconut trees seemed to be uprooted from the earth, the shaking was so obvious. That incident was a dark memory in the past.
Some time ago I visited the Tsunami Museum in the city of Banda Aceh. There we could see a number of photos of the terrible event that occurred. While walking around and looking at a number of pictures, I tried to capture some images and make them as entries in this Monomad Challenge. Hopefully these images will get support from friends in the Black and White community.
In this Monomad Challenge contest, I want to invite my friends to see some of Black and White photos caught by my camera; "at the Museum", the pictures presented to my friends in Black and white Community 😉
