Short Story: Reversed Momentum

In a world where time flows backwards, everything moves in reverse, from the aging of people to the growth of trees. But one day, a young girl named Alice discovers a way to move forward in time. She stumbles upon an old grandfather clock, but when she steps inside, time suddenly starts moving forward for her.

As Alice moves forward in time, she discovers that she has the power to change the past. She meets a boy named Max, who has been living his life in reverse since birth. Alice and Max develop a friendship, but as they grow older, Max starts to regress into a younger version of himself.

Alice realizes that if she wants to save Max, she must travel further back in time than she ever has before. She enters the grandfather clock once again, but this time she finds herself in a world where time is completely still.

She walks through the frozen landscape until she comes across an old woman who tells her that she has been waiting for her. The woman hands Alice a pocket watch and tells her that it has the power to change the course of time.

Alice takes the watch and returns to Max's timeline, where she finds him as a baby. She uses the watch to stop Max's reverse aging, and time starts to flow forward for him as well. Alice and Max grow up together, creating new memories that never existed before.
