A mythical dragon representative of the great congress of dragons has the honor of being invited today to our weekly challenges activity, I must admit that I really like the game characteristics of this character, he intimidates his rivals only with his shiny scales and his incredible magic. There is only one golden dragon and for that reason he is admired and respected by great organizations such as the Gloridax United, legend has it that the next golden dragon will be reborn soon and will be the heir of this great character.
This character takes part in all my bralw battles, or important fights, since his power of play is nefarious and destructive to everything that comes his way, I do not have this card of my own, so I have to rent it later so that it can keep my players company. It is a very versatile and dynamic card with incredible play characteristics.
Strategy and Character Positioning
For each battle there must be a contingency plan, a strategy formulated based on the rules of the game and the possible alignment of our opponents.
The alignment of my battlers is governed in a simple and uncomplicated way.
- Summoner: It is the monster assigned to grant the level and skills to the fighters, they should always be kept at par, to enjoy the abilities of the monsters to the fullest.
- Tank: It is the monster positioned in charge of receiving most of the attacks depending on the abilities of the monsters and rules of the battle. It must be a tough monster with good speed and medium to strong impact strength.
- Tank Backup (Ranged): When the situation warrants it, I tend to play with a kind of counter-tank looking for a way for these 2 to absorb all the hits and thus safeguard the ranged attack lines that usually are not able to withstand the same amount of attacks as the tank.
- Oportunist: A monster endowed with this ability is the ideal occupant for this sliver, given the rules of the game it can comfortably unwind sheltered on both sides so that its attack is constant to the most threatening monsters of the opposing sliver.
- Magic and healing: This character's main objective is to attack and defend the allied splinter, thanks to its regenerative abilities and great power of impact can be a last resort tank in cases where the vast majority of the fighters of my team are eliminated. In addition, I like to concentrate the attack, but vary their classes, since I do not know what is the strategy of my opponent and if I want to disable some of my attackers.
- Ranged attack: they take care of a specific target, where their main function (very rare when a ranged attack monster can attack from first position varies greatly from the rules and abilities of monsters). But, their objective is in supporting the allied tank by sending consecutive attacks to the enemy line.
- Last square devastating attack: this character has a fierce attack that allows him to eradicate in less than 2 rounds any target, it is one of my most used cards no matter what splinter it is. If the battle is high mana, this character will surely have action in my team.
Rules of the game.
Equalizer: This rule increases the vital points of all monsters positioned equally to the monster with the highest vitality that participates in the battle.
Positioned characters.
In this section I will give you the details and positions of each character for this battle.
Monstruos | Características | |
---|---|---|
DELWYN DRAGONSCALE: This is the ideal monster for the fulfillment of my strategy, I considered it convenient to play with the rented equipment belonging to the dragon sliver, thanks to the abilities of the characters and the high level of damage they can cause. In addition, the game rule favored the playability with this sliver, since most of them have very good gameplay characteristics, but low resistance and high mana costs per character. | ||
RED DRAGON:This is my ideal tank for this battle, his attack is high, his stamina is extensive thanks to the rules assigned for this battle. Thanks to the limitations of my summoner I couldn't use him to his full potential, this character has an incredible set of skills and very good for melee battles and derivatives. I decided to position him as a tank so that he could attack effectively and accurately while returning a portion of the ranged damage received for each hit. | ||
MANTICORE: The ideal backup tank, great endurance, good speed and his attack ability is very good. Although the summoner does not support his game characteristics at all, he was actually positioned in the second slot to support the tank's defensive strategy, he has the thorns ability which I consider very advantageous, as the tank's ability will return a portion of the ranged damage and is melee damage, leaving all the opponents afflicted while the monster with the regeneration ability arrives to consolidate its position thanks to its ability and exterminate the remaining opponents who should therefore be hurt thanks to the attacks and returns served by my occupants. Manticore will arrive to liquidate and exterminate any loose ends that may be considered a threat and compromise its durability when it moves to replace the main tank's position. | ||
DRAGON JUMPER: Thanks to his opportunistic ability and high resistance provided by the equalizer rule, this character can open a small gap in the opponent's defense thanks to his speed and flying ability which allows him to dodge attacks aimed at his position. I really like the versatility and great speed that this character has when dueling with the rival monsters, the main role that this character had to play in the game was to selectively eliminate the monsters that could compromise the integrity of the rival squad. For example: shield or health regenerators, other opportunists or those that decrease speed or attack. I like to place a wide variety of attackers, since I never know what will be the focus to weaken or silence my opponent. | ||
GOLD DRAGON: This monster is the last defensive hope of my lineup, the contingency plan in cases where the fighting monsters of the upper squares are eradicated, the idea was to afflict a portion of the vital damage thanks to the abilities of the tank and backup tank while the opportunist and the destroyer of the last square can decrease the number of occupants of the opponent's square. It was also intended to quickly eliminate the opponent's tank or the monster in the last square, as they are usually the most frequent points where the monsters with the highest attack or support abilities are concentrated. | ||
PORTAL SPINNER: This monster was used only to supplement mana and squares, it has very good gameplay characteristics to have such a low mana cost; however, I consider that it is not very effective for high mana battles. It cannot duel with monsters of strong attack or great resistance, if it does not support its resistance or durability with third party abilities, the idea of positioning this character in this square was to support the monster of the upper square in duels where they would eliminate the monster of the last square. Although I have to admit that I have been successful and effective in backing up the attacks to the last square. In addition, his increased vitality allows him to receive a large number of hits and keep going until the end of the game. | ||
SAND WORM: The only attacker to the last square, his destructive power is enough to liquidate any enemy in 2 rounds or less, I decided to shield him among several characters because he is a little slow, but his affliction is deadly, then the idea was to gain time in each round so that he could attack precisely the monster positioned in the last opponent's square. This character has participated in each of my games, he is a tremendous attacker who deserves great recognition for his game skills. |
Battle
Conclusion.
A very suspenseful battle, it was very close and I must recognize the great agility of my opponent when selecting his battle representatives. I consider that in normal situations this character can be a little weak at low levels, but with this kind of rules or strategies he can support his team with dignity and face higher level characters... I had a lot of fun while making my participation for this week of challenges **Thank you for dedicating your valuable time to read this post, see you in a next edition!
