Hace muchos años apenas tenía nada, no sabía qué iba a ser de mí y mi sueño estaba lejos de alcanzar mi meta de ser Licenciada en Educación Integral, siempre tuve la esperanza, las ganas y la ilusión de poder hacerlo. A pesar de no haber sido realista, no perdí esa esperanza y más cuando todo el mundo me decía que "buscara algo seguro" un profesor no gana nada en mi país (Eso es cierto); pero me daba más ganas de hacer lo contrario, me reforzaba diciéndome a mí misma: Vale, es cierto que no gano mucho, pero no voy a ser profesora de nadie, me estoy formando en una Universidad de las Fuerzas Armadas, eso es importante y debe servir para algo.

Many years ago I barely had anything, I didn't know what was going to become of me and my dream was far from reaching my goal of being a Bachelor in Integral Education, I always had the hope, the desire and the illusion of being able to do it. Despite not having been realistic, I did not lose that hope and even more when everyone told me to "look for something safe" a teacher does not earn anything in my country (That is true); but it gave me more desire to do the opposite, I reinforced myself by telling myself: Okay, it is true that I do not earn much, but I will not be a teacher anyone, I am training at a University of the Armed Forces, that is important and should serve for something.

Tuve capítulos fuertes, inesperados y difíciles que me distanciaron a tal punto que mi familia y amigos pensaron que eso era todo.

Pero hubo algo muy importante: nunca renuncié a alcanzar mi meta. ¿Qué quiero decir con esto? Que por muchos obstáculos que tengas en tu día a día, por mucho que los demás no crean en ti, el único que tiene que creer en ti eres tú.

I had strong, unexpected and difficult chapters that distanced me to such an extent that my family and friends thought that was all.
But there was something very important: I never gave up on reaching my goal. What do I mean by this? That no matter how many obstacles you have in your day to day life, no matter how much others don't believe in you, the only one who has to believe in you is you.

Nadie te va a dar nada gratis por muy buena persona que seas. Si te esfuerzas por algo, sea como sea, ve a por ello, porque la perseverancia y tu actitud es la única forma de conseguir tus objetivos, no hay otra.

No one is going to give you anything for free no matter how good a person you are. If you strive for something, no matter what, go for it, because perseverance and your attitude is the only way to achieve your goals, there is no other way.

Durante estos días me he parado a pensar en la importancia de tener una meta, un sueño, un objetivo…. Ya sea personal, monetario, profesional u otro.... Es muy importante, ¿por qué lo pienso? Porque sin un sueño no puedes avanzar, no habrá nada que te motive a seguir y todo lo harás con desgana y "por probar".

During these days I have stopped to think about the importance of having a goal, a dream, an objective.... Whether it is personal, monetary, professional or other.... It is very important; why do I think so? Because without a dream you can not move forward, there will be nothing to motivate you to continue and you will do everything with reluctance and "just to try".

Para concluir me gustaría expresar que cuando nos conectamos realmente con lo que queremos y lo combinamos con Dios, la oración, la visualización y la afirmación positiva, tenemos posibilidades reales de alcanzar nuestra meta y finalmente cumplir nuestros sueños; a medida que trazas tus metas, tus ideas cambian y tus sueños se forman.

To conclude I would like to express that when we really connect with what we want and combine it with God, prayer, visualization and positive affirmation, we have real possibilities to reach our goal and finally fulfill our dreams; as you trace your goals, your ideas change and your dreams are formed.
