I finally ate at the Grand Lux Cafe - Venetian | Food Review

Last night we had the pleasure of trying out a well known restaurant inside the Venetian called The Grand Lux Cafe. The place was dim lit, relaxing, and had a very elegant feel to it. I must say I am a sucker for extensive menus and boy did this exceed my expectations. Our servers name was Hugo and he was lovely, bonus for having great recommendations! Hugo suggested Seven Daughters Moscato, it was pretty good 7/10, still a great way to start the night.

I have been talking about eating Bao Buns for a few months now but couldn't find too many options in Vegas since most contain pork (I don't eat pork). I was delighted once I looked over and found some in the appetizer section since this wasn't planned. My lucky day! The buns (3) were chicken and it was very juicy, contained carrots, cucumber, red onion, and cilantro as well as some kind of delicious Asian glaze! Definitely 10/10.

For dinner we decided to go with Lemon Chicken Piccata and the Island burger. The pasta was huge!! I was only able to finish half. Beautiful flavor without over doing it, the chicken was tender and juicy, the mushrooms and capers complimented very well 8.5/10

The Island burger was a regular size but it got the job done, still very tasty. The pineapple slaw was so rich in flavor along with the sriracha mayo, which we used to dip the fries in. Hints of sweet and spicy, YUM! 8/10

We did not have any room for dessert which I guess is a good sign but I bet it would've been amazing. With everything included our bill came out to $107.72. Not bad for an app, 2 entrees, and a bottle of wine. All in all I had a wonderful time and would recommend this place to anyone coming to Vegas.
