Tofu Mushroom Soup - easy cooking how to

Hello, friends especially foodies!


Last Saturday i was not going aywhere so i cooked for the whole family. This time i only used ingredients i had at home and i made a simple soup from them. This tofu mushroom soup was really easy and simple to make but tasty, and i am sure you could make one for you too. Let's follow me of how i made it..


Ingredients:

  • a japanese egg tofu
  • 2 hioko mushrooms
  • an egg
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • a little piece of ginger
  • leak
  • celery
  • 800 ml water
  • some salt
  • some sugar
  • some pepper
  • some mushroom broth
  • a tablespoon sesame oil
  • two tablespoons soy sauce
  • some oil
  • 3 tablespoons of sago flour, stirred with 3 tablespoons of water

How to made it:


1ST

I started by preparing the ingredients. First i left the mushrooms in the hot water, after they were soft and bloom then it was the right time to cut them. At first i thought two hioko weren't enough but then i realized it would be enough. How to cut is to remove the ear then cut them off like what i made.

I also cut the tofu like these.

Chopped the garlic and ginger.

Also cut the celery and leak.

I almost forgot the egg. I had to whisk it..

And finally, these were all the ingredients i had prepared for this dish.

2TH


At first i put the oil on the wok and waited until it was hot. Then i put the garlic and ginger there. Fried and stirred until they smelled good.

After that i put on the mushroom there too. Stirred it until it was a bit brownish... But i failed this time i made the garlic overcooked.

Then i put on the water on it.

After that, seasoning time, i put the salt, pepper, sugar, broth, sesame oil, and soy sauce to it...

I also put the tofu in it.

Time to wait, i waited until it boiled then time to put the 3 tablespoon of sagoflour mixed with 3 tablespoon of water. Stirred them well.

After that i put on the egg and stirred it well too. And after that i put the leak and celery, then the soup was done.

The Result


Voila here it was..

It ready to serve for around 6-7 pax.

And it was so tasty, with savory and a bit sweet flavour.
